Follow this first ok
you will have to do is a factory reset code is 1668 press ok then turn box off
wait 1 min then turn back on then press ok to the language then into installation
put your provider in there which is NTL ok down to auto scan let it finish doing the
scan do not stop if you see some come up as failed that is not a problem just let it
carry on when it has found all the channels exit out back to menu press 1570 down to EMU
and turn that on exit exit exit and you should be sorted ok let me know how you get on ok
Then check your codes are the same as the ones on the code page the link is under my post codes ok

looking for ratings of starview1.digivox,eurovox problems etc.i have starview and digivox but know nothing about eurovox.thanks.

Sorry took you up wrong i would say eurovox just got one today so have not set it up yet but supposed to be the best between them ones you put in or you could try dreambox which is the daddy of them ok

no on its own in standby what firmware have you on it now as v4.50 is the latest for ireland and v4.51 for the uk

you can try which ever is for you if you like you can download it from the eko site under my post and flash the box with that just make sure you get the right one for your country ok then try the other stuff again also are you in the uk if so you need to put all the providers in not just the one you are with plus all the codes as well ok

i have a starview original box and am in dublin. tried everything suggested.
when i auto scan 158 channels are found but all are scrambled. the codes are the right codes and emu is on.
anything else i can try

Did you check them against the ones i have on here as if you are one number or one letter out you will have that problem can you check again just to be sure that is the only problem ya the v4 is only for starview 1 boxes not starview 2 boxes ok let me know

can u write codes and data that u have in nagravision

Noodle have you got a splitter on your box, if not you may have it connected into the FM rf outlet of your N** box and you need it to be plugged in TV rf outlet.
Check that this is not the case.

Sorry scouser dont want to tread on you wee ones the starview has to be connected to cable input on the back NOODLE are you using a scart lead as you need to otherwise you will have the same problem

scouser can u run that by me again. i connect the ariel from the wall tio the back of the starview box (which connection) and then a lead from the starview box (which connection) to the back of the tv
can u let me know what leads need to be in which hole
