Im not to sure about the uk,im in ireland,but if you try a manual scan go to menu installation,manual scan,down frequency 683.000 or 619.000 symbol rate 6952 press ok,hope this helps.

Hi guys,
Just wondering could you help. Were just after getting the box and we love it, but we can't get any of the adult channels that we were told about. We've got everything else. Could someone help please.

Yes i was asking scouser had he heard anything from you and he said know i thought you had given this up i myself am only on now and again as it is much to quiet on here for all the seniors to be on answering and it will give the other members a chance to help out and get to know the stuff the same way we had to learn as they say the only way to learn is by doing it

Hi,
Living in DUBLIN using NT HELL.
Just bought Starview THE BOX, it came with a version 4.54 software, done an automatic scan found approx 150 channels.
However when I pressed menu INFO 1570 to turn EMU KEY ON nothing happens.
I then installed version 4.50 software and everything seems fine.
Is version 4.54 software ok or am I doing something wrong?.

menu then 1570 should work,though I have seen a few that didnt. Nothing happened after menu 1570. When re flashed with 4.50 it seems to work, or if you download 4.5.4 and flash it appears to work....someting odd going on at supplier end. Out of curiosity, what area did you ger it from?

Heres another way to access the secret menu might work MENU > PARENTAL CONTROL > PRESS INFO ( Nothing will appear to happen however you will need to press this properly, possibly more than once ) > INPUT 2004 > TURN ON KEY EMU

I bought it from a very reputable supplier in the UK.
It comes flashed with version 4.54 and does not seem to work but when I replace this with 4.50 it works... seems funny
I did not re-flash it again with 4.54 just happy to have it working.
Is it worth my while to attempt to re-flash upto 4.54

post above works with my 4.50 and 4.54, but not with the box supplied from uk with 4.54 pre installed....seems to be an issue though as I've answered a lot of complaints about it...
