well lads have st**view in ireland on n**. completely gone off. everything is right with the box. know from this thread. just wondering can anyone shed light on the problem. cheers

Take your cable put of the box and plug directly into the tv and see if it is a cable fault in your area ok then if you have channels turn your box off with the cable reattached and then turn back on and wait for it to update

If the digital is down in the area the boxes will not work so best to wait and see if it comes back on again

That is all scare tactics it is meant to take effect that is the idea so keep cool and wait till it happens when it does we will all know and it will just be a matter of waiting for a fix like all the other times before as they have been fixing these for years be no different this time

Use the v4.50 only on your starview 2 TheBox as it is the most stable as all the other ones are a bit buggy at the moment ok hope ya enjoyed the hols

Thanks for that there has been 3 more releases for thebox so far but i have not found a better version than the V4.50 for ireland and the V4.51 for the uk hope this helps ya out

Hi, Im selling my starview box seen as im moving house and the new place doesnt have a cabled street, so if anyones interested send me a private message with an offer, im not expecting to get much for it but anything for the beer pot is welcomed!
Its a geniuine reciever with remote, scart lead, uk plug, and wire for connecting to cable tv wall point and in new condition (still has the scratch resist plastic bit on the front, i still have the box too .
So genuine box, if you want it you can have it, just offer enough for me to get blathered over the weekend.
