I'll check it out. You should remove your email address from the above post though. Its against forum rules to post it.

Im on 3.71M33-2 and the gamesharing & photo sending features never work. It kepps ending in an error message like "A connectiopn error has occured" followed with numbers. Could it be the firmware or the keys?

I am having a problem with getting the remote play to work and Im hoping someone can help. I am running the 3.52 m33-4 and the ps3 newest update of 2.0. My ps3 recognizes my psp but when I try to run remote play my psp says I need to update my software version. Thanks in advance.

I just ran into this last night. I updated to 2.0 on the PS3 and now the PSP is telling me the same thing. My keys are perfect on my PSP, so this is a requirment of the PS3. 2.0 may require 3.72, as they were both released at pretty much the same time. I'll have to look into it.
@WEBEX: I am assuming you are referring to connecting to another PSP. I dont have another PSP to test this with so I cant confirm what the problem is. Run Keycleaner and post your IdStorage status (ie., condition of all the keys).

Remote Start needs newer firmwares to do so....If you have 3.71 M33 then you will need to use a custom plugin via the f0\vsh in recovery.

I'm currently running 3.71 M33-2. The only thing newer is 3.72, so I'm assuming that is what you are referring too.
What custom plugins are you talking about? Can you elaborate a bit?

3.71 M33-3 has just been released today. Confirmed steps to get Remote Start/Play to work via this method.
Quote: Download Sony Official Firmware 3.72
Download M33_NEWPSARDUMPER from DA's Site
Extract data.psar from 3.72 eboot with PBP Unpacker (not sure if this was necessary or not)
Open USB Connection and put 3.72 eboot and data.psar in root of mem stick
Put PSARDUMPER in Game (make sure kernel is on 3.71 in recovery menu)
Run Psardumper
Press Square
After it's done dumping, open USB Connection and copy premo_plugin.prx (f0\vsh\module) and premo_plugin.rco (f0\vsh\resource) and paste them somewhere for safe keeping
You can delete f0 now
Open recovery menu on PSP (right bumper and turn on with PSP still connected to PC)
Go to advanced
Select Toggle USB (flash0)
A new window should pop up on your PC
Make sure you have hidden files and system files viewable
Replace premo_plugin.prx (vsh\module) and premo_plugin.rco (vsh\resource) with the ones you copied
Select Toggle USB (flash0) to disable
Restart PSP

Yeah, I saw that. But, technically, the PS3 still sees the PSP as 3.71, regardless of the revision #. Does update -3 fix the Remote Play issues and report the proper version to the PS3? I'll test it as soon as I get home, and post back the results.

Taken from us.playstation.com
Preparing to use remote start
To use this feature, you must first perform the following steps:
Update the system software of the PSP® system to version 3.72 or later.
Complete the network settings on the PS3? system so that it can connect to the Internet.*
Create a PLAYSTATION®Network account.
Set to sign in automatically to PLAYSTATION®Network.
Set to log in automatically under (Users).
*To use remote start via the Internet, the PS3? system must be connected to a router.
Notice the "update to 3.72"? Yup......no remote play till we upgrade to 3.72.

I guess I am special (as well as others) with my 3.71 M33-3 and custom prx/rco that allows me to remote turn on my PS3 with absolutely no issues.

Well, are you gonna brag, or share the wealth? (just kidding)
Seriously, though. What else did you need to do besides upgrade to M33-3? What are the custom prx/rco's that you used? Would be nice if you could explain.

Wow.....went right past it about 4 times. Sorry 'bout that. I guess the 'qoute' threw me or something.
I'll check it out tonight and see how it works (I'm assuming it will since you have confirmed it).

It's actually cool as hell to be able to use the PSP & PS3 connectivity as the way it should. Through your home network it is quite fast via the net it takes a few to connect but works perfect when synced.

Is it worth upgrading to 3.72 HX-1 or whatever that new CFW is or should I just stick with 3.71 M33-3 to be able to turn the PS3 on/off via remote play? I know the only downside as of now for running 3.72 HX-1 is that you can't run the 1.50 kernel with the old PSPs.

I myself will only use DA CFW's...now unless HX-1 is shown to be him in disguise (as before with M33) and it is supported then I will switch.

3.72 HX-1 is based on Dax's source code
http://www.qj.net/Reverse-engineered-fro.../107047
"Based on" and made by are two totally different things. As I said, I will only use DA CFW's not some unknown CFW that can't even run all the stuff it is "based on".

i'm with the mod on that one. we don't know anything about the coder. until hx-1 starts getting positive feedback, or DAX reveals himself as the coder, m33 is the way to go.
ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure
got a whole lot more to list . . .

Ill try it out I think but Ill have a Pandora battery available. First I gotta unbrick my PSP, I bricked it by putting custom themes on 3.71 M33.
