I knew more about the PSP hacks back when 1.50 came out than I do now, when I can actually buy one! :P
My PSP is bricked so i can't help. You can still create the memory stick with a card reader, but u will need a illegal memory stick dump, which is included in Pandora's GUI. But yea the 32MB memory stick Does NOT work because it is Memory Stick Duo, not Memory Stick Pro Duo they bout look the same, except regular duo is slower, not sure whats else.

I'm not sure, i never made the battery, my psp bricked before then. But the readme said it doesn't work on regular Duo's...

Alright, i need some help now, just found someone with a custom firmware psp, however i was carring a battery with me also, so i tried to flash it, but my battery was messed up, since it didn't charge i tried to flash it but keep getting errors,(i was running on wires to power on the psp) i just left after that, poped apart the battery made a mod that was on acidmods of how they used 3 AAA battery and the battery circuit board, so i connect them up, n plug it in the PSP, once plug in the power light went on and so did the wifi n memory stick light, but got black screen, the battery gave out 4v because of the 3 aaa battery which should of gave out 3.6v, but that should be fine, well my question is what happens when u put the pandora's battery in the psp without the memorystick or correct memory stick? I don't have a memory card reader so i cannot make the memory stick right now... if anyone have any clue on if the battery needed to have power in it to be flash or not plz reply
thx in advance

Thanks for the info, vbc. I'll have to read around and learn how to do everything. Do the Pro Duo sticks start at 64mb or 128mb? And I'll be sure to get the card reader, unless my friends PSP is lower than 3.52, I'll have to ask him.

EDIT: I'm thinking about getting this card reader nMEDIAPC Card Reader It's cheap too, but I may get something from SanDisk instead.

I'll be getting this one instead, it's got a 4-in-one feature SanDisk MobileMate MS

And vbc, will the memory stick pro duo work like normal after using it with Pandora's Battery?

I got a question. I just fully bricked my psp a while ago and i'm looking at the pandora battery to fix it. I just want to know if there is a guide for recovering the battery once ur done unbricking. Coz I'm buying a 256 memory card later and i want to know if anyone knows how to recover the battery or if i need another battery.

psplife: Ceramic White 2.71 TA-082> 1.5> 3.03OE-C> installed custom themes> semibricked on the 3rd try> 1.5> 3.30OE-A> 3.10OE-A'> 3.03OE-C> 3.40 OE-A> 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33 update 4 > 3.71M33 > 3.71M33-3

You'll need a PSP with custom firmware to make the battery. Where abouts do you live?

that would be great but how would u go about doing such a thing, meeting up with me i don't think is an otion cause we hardley know eachother and we just met and it's safer even though i know u are only trying to help me. so i don't think you can email it to me either (i wish i could just click print and then have a pandora battery) lol no i think the safest way is if i give u my address for u to post it to me and then i can post u come money in return.
if this is okay with u or if u have anysuggestions let me know

LOL, that's what i was kinda suggesting anyway :P

But, it's easier on my part if you send me the battery and mem card, then i send it back, because i don't want the hassle of buying them, and it's a lot cheaper for you (As you could use your present battery and card).

I have a PSP slim but I don't have access to another PSP with 1.50 or CFW. Could I buy a Pandora's battery and Memory Stick combo off ebay then put the nessisary files on the MS for the M33 3.60 with a card reader or my slim PSP?

ok

1)i have tried the pandora's batt and stick and succesfully downgraded a sony 3.52

2)then i got this bricked psp and after i insert the stick and batt then all the 3 lights goes on and stays like that .

3)then i tried it on another bricked one and the 3 light came up for 3 seconds and immediately i got the pandora's downgrading menu

now what could be wrong with the second psp.i 've went through a few forums and it most say try using the dimmer but i even tried pressing the the dimmer button after i load the mem stick and the batt but even that trick dint workout ..

any solution?

I ran into a situation today where I was unable to run the downgrader from the pandora menu-It got to the point after it formatted the flash, and then I got the error message "updating registry: cannot write system.dreg" and then the psp shuts down...From the searching I have done, it looks like I should have just made a dump of the bricked psp's NAND and restored it from the menu instead of running the downgrade option..

My question is, has anyone else had this situation, and would it be possible to use the NAND dump from a functioning psp with 1.50 firmware? Any success stories?? I know the idStorage would not be the same between the two,and from what I read would cause problems if you tried using one idstorage for two different psp's-but you should at least be able to restore the NANd from a working psp...

Hey has anyone ever got a warning about IamBigBrother while running the Pandora's Jigstick Easy Intaller? Within seconds of opening the file at the first screen, eTrust PestPatrol popped up a warning about that running in system memory. I searched about it, and it seems to be computer monitoring software. I'll be sure to run the GUI while I'm not connected to the internet, that is after I update all my defs for the anti-spyware software.

EDIT: I've heard about the recent fakes of Pro Duo cards on Amazon, any thoughts on this one? Sandisk SDMSPD256768 256MB Memory Stick Pro Duo Card

The price does seem pretty cheap though.

EDIT: WTF!!?? Sony 256mb Pro Duo 500$

Oi...
