thanks for all the help guys
unfortunatey, after trying everything that was suggested, it still DOESN'T work :( . it gives the same error as before: "cannot read 350.PBP or incorrect".
What else can there be done? should i upgrade my 3.40 oe-a to 3.70, then downgrade it to 1.5 using the pandora + MMS? or should i just try to re-flash it, because i tried that AND THAT also DOESN'T WORK.
thanks

Anyone else had the problem of using copy batteries?
"Error at address 0x26"
Current serial 0x3D868A00
When pressing X to create pandora battery it says successfull writing 0xFFFFFFF but when going back into it it then again says your current serial is 0x3D868A00.
Any ideas?

It's not going to work, use the official Sony battery.

yes, unfortunately you do have to have the official sony battery.
however, you may be able to find some good deals on ebay - for an 1800 mAH battery. (these are the least expensive)
Hope that helps

Could be something wrong with the program you are using to add the files to the memory stick-That may be corrupted? As far as I know it just adds a couple of files to the magic memory stick so you can enable the custom firmware on the psp slim, right?
You could try getting your program from a different source...

@ deeZ nUtz:
I dont really use a program, i just drag and drop it into the MMS. IS there another way of doing it?

That link is another way to create the pandora battery + MMS.
It is not nearly as simple as the easy installer, but it has all the files.

why upgrade just to downgrade, maybe you need the 150 kernel patch to get the recovery to work, try using a pandora battery, maybe you should have posted this question in one of the 3.71m33 threads

Hey guys :)
I have a "memory stick pro duo 2gb" :) (the one I'm currently using)
Well, I'm planning to use this memory stick to downgrade my PSP :)
I dun have much cash to buy a spare memory stick pro duo :(
So, after I use this to downgrade my PSP, will I be able to format it (with the PSP format option) and use it again ?? o.O
What are the disadvantages ?? O.o
Will it work exactly like before ?? :)

hello guys as u know C-D team has released the new solution for the bricked psp to be unbricked. this is great as i saw that before making pandora battery there is a choice to make the battery normal by pressing the triangle button before pressing the x button. after downgrading when u make the battery normal there are too much defects for the battery.
1)U cannot fully upgrade the psp and their comes internal error after the upgrading and the psp wont work properly.
2)The brightness of psp is 3 but with this battery the brightness is low means only two times.
3)U cant get into the configurations> options in the recovery mode.
4)The battery charge is very low.
5)In the system battery information wont show u the correct charging level.
So guys i wrote this thread in order to save the peoples psps. because at first i thought that my psp lcd is not working and i changed my lcd due to brightness and then again i always changed the firmwares as i thought that the firmwares are not working correctly and many other things that i bought because of this battery. this got me in a real loss. but one day as i changed the battery the psp got in normal position everything was fine. i toke the battery and throwed in a well not to even see the battery face again.

^^Was that an official Sony battery you were using? or Was it a third party battery? There have been similar reports for both, but just wanted to check...Also I believe the readme file for the battery creator recommends using a spare anyway, which would alleviate all of those problems.

hey guys
this may be a bit off topic, but does anybody know which firmware is pre-loaded onto the psp slims in retail stores? (i.e. futureshop, bestbuy, walmart?)
im askin because i made a pandora battery and by brother has a regular psp. as i understand, u need the MMS in order to put some files on it thru the regular psp, and i want to downgrade the psp slim.
thanks
