Yes use mr dudes GUI I linked to it earlier.

However you will not be able to create the battery without CFW.

Place the pandora_battery% and the pandora_battery folders in the GAME folder on your PSP. Then run the app under Custom FW. Use the fake eeprom if you did not make a backup when you first converted it to pandora. This may have side effects, but I have experienced none of the personally.

@wapak

try doing this
1. connect your psp to your computer via usb.
2. go to recovery menu by restarting your psp pressing "R" button.
3. Go to advanced then enable flash1.
4. delete config.se.
5. exit recovery
6. Press o at bsod to reset settings

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted wapak to get that info quick.
PLEASE GOTO mAXCONSOLE FOR THE MOST RECENT DOWNLOAD AND REVISED GUIDE.
GO HERE:

I have figured out the ultimate(in my opinion) Magic Memory Stick Install. With this install I can use 1 mem stick and 1 battery to have the ultimate downgrader/upgrader/unbricker.

I can:

1. upgrade slims to 3.71-2
2. upgrade phat to 3.71 M33 w/ 1.50-2 kernal patch
3. downgrade phat to 1.50
4. upgrade phat straight to 3.52 M33 from pandora boot then install
update 4 no need to downgrade to 1.50
5. start up psp to either pandora(by hold L trigger) or xmb
6. Boot to a full 1.50 from Mem Stick

This is comprised of Pandora v1 by:Team C+D, Despertar Cementerio v3 by:DAX, MS Multi Loader by:Booster, and Pandora Extended Boot Menu by:Hellcat prepared by:DarKMenTaL
A big shout out to all these coders and all the others that make this possible. I am forever in your debt.

If anyone wants to try this and needs help let me know, if there are enough request I will make a guide, but it may take me a few days.(busy bee, worky, worky;)

Edit: I have just finished uploading almost all files and apps needed for this. Here is the link:
http://rapidshare.com/files/60799112...Stick.rar.html

The only thing else you will need is the official udate eboot.pbp's for 1.50, 3.40, and 3.71.
These can be found here:

ovrfiendx, lots of ppl dont like 3.71m33 for the phat cause of bugs or something. What about 3.71m33 for the slim? Is it better than 3.60m33?

That sounds like a pretty awesome MMS but...since I was going to use the same MS for downgrading a phat and upgrading a slim and would need to recreate the MMS each time.

@bboy1

Not sure as I don't own a slim.

You only need 1 battery and 1 stick if you do this. just follow my guide. You run PSPfiler (included) from extended boot menu and rename your kd folders (oldkd=pandora v1 newkd=DAX Pandora v3) to kd and the run pandora from extended boot menu.

I thought you said you already un bricked but was getting a bsod.
I think you can still get to recovery hold R trigger when booting.

If not go here and try my guide I have been perfecting it since it was posted here.http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=82963 Then you can use another PSP to fix the one with the bsod.

@WAPAK

Power off PSP, Take mem stick and battery out.
Plug in your ac adapter then hold R and power on your PSP.
Should take you to recovery. Then try what I said before.

after i follow the instructions on the pandora's gui, i use the magic mem and the jickick, before finishing the flash, it says that cannot write system reg..

i guess that, that is the problem why i can't finish the flashing correctly

When you get that "updating registry...cannot write system dreg" error in the pandora unbrick process, that means your registry is corrupted-Which is why you get the BSOD and it just reboots...

In which case you'll have to get a hold of a fresh 1.50 nand dump from another psp and restore it to your bricked psp, but be sure to choose the option to NOT use the idstorage when restoring-otherwise you will have problems.

To make a nand dump-select the option in the pandora menu that says something like backup nand.bin to ms0:/-I think its square...Then once you have your nand (flash) saved to the memory stick, locate it on your memory stick and rename it to "nandimage.flash"-then when you insert the pandora battery, and you see the menu-You will want to select the restore option, and then select the one that says restore without idstorage-

I got mine from CodeJunkies.com (Datel).

Beware though, I had ordered mine on the 17th last month, got a confirmation the next day, and they shipped it 10 days later. It got here in 5 days, since I had paid a few dollars more for the faster delievery (Expedited?).

Oh yeah, to everyone else wondering, the Tool Battery is exactly the same thing as Pandora's Battery. It does come with instructions, but you do have to know what you're doing first to understand it. Just read how to create Pandora's Battery and Magic Memory Stick, but minus out the battery step and use the Pandora's Box GUI program. It seem like a long way, but it definatley helps in the long run for understanding. I haven't been doing hacks for a while, so I had to go through the basics again lol.

Will post pics soon. I'll have to use my webcam or Kodak camera to make the video I mentioned earlier.

And thanks PeeEssPee! I've already got 3.52 M33-4 w/ NES,SNES, and GBA Roms, as well as PSX Silent Hill. Learned not too long ago that it's improved upon 3.40 oe-a, I betcha Dark_AleX is still in the scene w/ M33 :-). Not sure how to install custom XMB themes yet, still looking around for that trying to get the Altimit OS theme by ClearTranquil installed.

Again, thanks for all of the help everyone. I carry my Tool Battery and Magic Memory stick in my PSP case just in case someone happens to need their PSP unbricked/downgraded hehe :-)

Yea I ordered from the same place on Sept. 24 and they charged me already without even sending it out. They told me it's out of stock and every single email I've sent them they haven't replied. How did you go about contacting them?

No no no. lol I don?t think you get it. I have done it manually and did the installer also. I back up my eeprom and everything its just I put the MS in the psp that I want to downgrade then put the battery in the psp and the psp auto turns on.

I know I have to have it right cause when I flash my batter back to normal then try to put that battery into a psp the psp does not auto power on.

let's assume you already downgraded your extra psp?
then,,you already recovred/turn back to normal your battery you'vr used in pandora stuff,,

then if u insert that bat into a normal psp? it does'nt turn automatic on?
i think it will not automatic power on,,you should turn it on manually,if it doesn't turn on,,,maybe it is still in pandora batt

I need help, I hope you guys could help me. I have 2 PSP, one is Sony original version of 3.51 and the other PSP is version 3.52 M33-4

I've successfully created the pandora's battery and the magic mem stick.

Now, the question is that when I put the memstick on a normal 3.51 PSP, and then the battery, it auto power on. But the screen it's just black. What should I do ? :\

I could also convert the pandora's battery back to it's normal state because I've back up its' file. I want to make my 3.51 to a 3.52 M33-4 too. help please?

I am using the Win Installer.
