Did you try to push the dimmer button on the PSP after the 3 lights came on? I didn't have to do that when I inserted the mem stick and battery on my PSP, but I think that is because the PSP was running on 3.52 OFW at the time. Because you are on 3.51 OFW, you may have to push the dimmer button. Give that a try and let us know if it helps.

Only one light came on though, the Power light only.

There should be a menu appear right? But mine doesn't do anything, the light just lit up and it does nothing for a long time. But I could convert the battery back to normal and it works fine, but it is still 3.52

Help please?

Woops, sorry for double posting, but my version is not 3.52, it is 3.51.

I tested the battery for both PSP and both of them doesn't seems to appear the pandora menu after I put the magic mem stick and then the pandora's batter.

So you tried the combo on both PSPs and the menu didn't appear on both? It sounds like the Magic Memory stick wasn't made correctly, you said you were using the Win Installer, but do you mean Easy Installer?

If so, try out the Pandora's Box GUI program for non-slims.

No problem :]

To install custom XMB's you should use flash agent to free some space. And i think you can flash it on at the same time :S I forgot lols. I got a mario theme onto my 3.40 oe-a. it was soo cool ;D

Your PSP is not a custom version right? That's probably why. Anyway, can you run homebrew with it?

first,,you already have the pandora creator on mem stick?

did you run that?

if you cant run that and having a prob,,change the hombrew folder in the recovery menu to 1.5, then remove the bat,,insert the ac adaptor,,turn on psp,,then insert the batt,,

then run the pandora creator, but,,,if you already have the pandora bat,,,insert the mem stick first, then the bat in your other psp you want to downgrade

then folow insrtuctions,,

Yeah my PSP is dead. I get no power lights or anything on my psp. I did put in a new motherboard and flashed that but it still didnt work. Im going to open it back up and make sure everything is connected which it should be since the pandora battery menu does show. It just doesnt do anything when i REPLACE the battery.

Ahh, thanks. I had tonnes of screens up and i must've posted my reply in some other thread.. Whoops. Lols.

EDIT :

I was wondering. If you already wrote the msipl.bin when you did the pandora before, then you put like apps and music on again - would you have to do the process again?

i guess that, that is the problem why i can't finish the flashing correctly
When you get that "updating registry...cannot write system dreg" error in the pandora unbrick process, that means your registry is corrupted-Which is why you get the BSOD and it just reboots...

In which case you'll have to get a hold of a fresh 1.50 nand dump from another psp and restore it to your bricked psp, but be sure to choose the option to NOT use the idstorage when restoring-otherwise you will have problems.

To make a nand dump-select the option in the pandora menu that says something like backup nand.bin to ms0:/-I think its square...Then once you have your nand (flash) saved to the memory stick, locate it on your memory stick and rename it to "nandimage.flash"-then when you insert the pandora battery, and you see the menu-You will want to select the restore option, and then select the one that says restore without idstorage-
what is the procedure to have a fresh 1.50 nand dump saved to my memory stick?
