Ok lads,i heard the reason why the eurovox tx boxes dnt work in our areas is because Nthell changed back over to the Dublin line.If this makes any sense??

TX boxes only work on Chorus MMDS, they were never working on NTL.
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

They are not, anyone whos provider is chorus and their box isn't working its because they need to either enter the keys/prov ID manually into their box or update their firmware to the ones that came out in January2009

sorry but cathaldub is right any box with a dvb-t variant is for ch@rus only,any box will work for n@l mmds which uses dvb-c

@is_mise
Your box has old firmware(preferably update it or do the below as a quick fix)
You need to manually enter the keys and provider ID
Keys are not given out on this site
use google to find them
@che27
Is there a mmds aerial on your roof?
or have they ran cable into your house?
If the mmds aerial is still on the roof chase the wire back and make sure its going into your box
PLEASE DONT PM ME FOR KEYS!

Right lads, I'm back in action but all I did was plug the box in and hey presto! I didn't actually have to do any techy stuff. Totally confused but also very happy.
Thanks for your help.

Hi all....anybody get the eurovox tx on ch0ru$ MMDS working again? I'm dreading the day it will go completely, but looking at normal TV over the last few days is not going down too well!!!
I believe some channels are going on the other boxes in Dub, but they still have most of them.
Please help!

his post at 05.20 on April 3rd is not there. I have checked his other posts on that date and his link to the other site is relating to the key roll back in December 2008.
I've printed this stuff off again and I'll check it against my current box setup just in case. Any other help welcome
Cheers

A ChyroS MMD∫ Kyee change in the afternoon (2nd-April-09) is responsible for the outages.
They are still using N2 however.
This may be of interest.

Thanks for the quick reply,
I'm not too clever but heres what i tried
1. I clicked the eko link below the flag
2. I clicked the eurovox folder
3. I clicked on Eurovox mmds tx (as that is the model i have)
4. I clicked on december 08 fix
5. I clicked on the download file eurovox_tx_22122008.bin.bin
I presume i need to connect the pc to the eurovox box. What cable do i need? there is a rs-232c port on the back of the eurovox and a similar port on the pc. is that the way? I assume i need to be online during the fix or can i save the download and use it when i'm offline?

you can download and save the file so you don't need to be online when you are updating. they are the correct ports but the cable you need is a null modem cable, it looks the same as the r-232 cable
