Well, I'm on Ch0rvs in the Sth Tipp area an mine is gone, I've been using a Eurovox TX. I think it looks like game over for me, no amount or rescans is bringing them back.... :(

I am in dunshaughlin area i used to have eurovox tx on mmds but it went down on me a couple of weeks ago. By searching a few threads i came across someone saying ntl mmds was using dvbc instead of dvbt so i got a eurovox ex1000 sl and wala i'm back with all channells. Happy days for a while anyway

ntl mmds has always been dvb-c chorus mmds has always been dvb-t but in area's that over lap they are changing all boxes to ntl mmds so you would need a dvb-c box

I changed my box from a DVBt to DVBc and it worked pervfect. But just to clarify i did try the super usb and it did'nt work i had to get a eurovox ex 1000 sl and it worked

guys i have eurovox tx in my kids room, working A1, can ye guys check the keys. if one area is hit on mmds we all should have been. im told we have few months to go yet. so just double check keys.

the reason the box super usb probably didnt work is because they were waiting for new firmware to be released as it didnt have the n2 fix at the time but its all the 1 now as all the main channels on ntl are gone to n3 looks like the end is near for people on ntl

ive seen in another thread that chorus was down in kerry this morning
but all has been restored since

According to the Wife it wasn't working during most of that day. She also said that the real XhorXs box was also down. I put it down to the weather as there have been a few momentary outages lately. I am now assuming that they were doing upgrade work on the system.
I live in Duleek area of Meath. I have had to do a rescan a couple of times recently.

Anyone experiencing problems with ESPN Today? It appears as though its been scrambled in some way, picture is there but broken up.

Yep, I'm having the same issue in Kerry with ESPN.
I'm in Sligo and all channels are fine but some of the movie channels went down last weekend and came back

Every channel coming in on 378.000MHz seems to have the same scrambled effect. ESPN, ESPN America, BBC3, BBC4, BBC News 24. Receiving the channel but the picture is all distorted, like a brick effect going on. Anyone know whats happening? Can they scramble individual frequencies?

Seems to have sorted itself out today. ESPN is back.

Folks any advice please, I have two EuroVox TX and problems with both.
One wont scan past 330mhz and the other the remote will not work on. Every time I switch it off and on the remote stops after about 1 minute.
Any ideas on either of these.

try reflashing with the latest firmware and fixes and you could also try a manual serch

Yes, definetly try a reflash. This happened to me a few weeks back. Once reflashed the scan worked fine. Make note of all the codes before a flash or factory reset in case you don't have them.
Another thing, it's probably just my box alone, but it had become a bit tempermental of late, ie it boots by itself. I left the box in standby mode whenever I was not using it and did not unplug it. This went on for a number of weeks...next of all the the box went haywire, freezing and booting itself! Left the box unplugged for about 20 seconds, plugged it back in and it has been fine ever since. I have gotten into the habbit of unplugging the box before whenever I finished with it.
Looks like we survived the chop boyz and girlz! Word has it that the people who have come in to Choru$/NTHell to render all of the 'dodgy' boxes useless have headed back to the England to hit the market over there. But they did get their main target in Ireland and that's the cable users in Dublin. That's most of Choru$ NTHell custom sorted. I've been advising friends to move to Navan!!!
It's all good for now :-)

Sorry for the dumb q here, I have the 23/11/07 bios installed which is the most up to date as far as I can see.
When I launch the app and connect via null modem is all I need to do is point ther browser to the file then click execute. I did this and still not getting a scan. If the ececution on the uploader runs do I kjnow for sure that has flashed the box ?
I tried the manual scan but again only getting about 20 channels , I would say the fta ones sky 2 sky sports news etc. None of the irish channels.

Hi, tried factory reset and automatic scan, eurovox tx still not performing full scan, unable to flash box, can anyone let me know the frequency comedy central and comedy central+1 are on as these are the only channels i watch from the ones i've lost.
