Before i do it can somebody clarify if it would work on a psp SLIM 3.80 OFW!
will magic mem stick and pandoras battery work for 3.80?
is it really universal?
or is it only up to some ofws?

it will work on all OFW slim&fat just pop'em in you'll see np

I love psobb but i need a credit card # to get back on :(

Everyone with a FAT/SLIM should back up the NAND.

or did i miss a part of you guide.

right now i have my mms, and i will convert a battery into a pb using a cfwed psp and pandora battery tool 0.5.

So:
Select "backup battery eeprom to ms0:/eeprom.bin"
after you do that, you
click the "convert to service mode"
then you quit, and put your pb into the slim right?
first put the mms into slim,
then put the pb into slim, and it should load a menu, click X to install 3.71 m33-2.

Wheres the NAND step?

The NAND dump option is in the Pandora Battery menu. Where you select to install 3.71 M33 or 3.71 official firmware.

Just dump the NAND and then transfer the nand-dump.bin from your PSP Memory Stick to your PC for safe keeping.

so before i click x to install 3.71 m33 i should dump nand,
then connect to computer
and save the nand?
why isn't this in the guide?
is it optional?
and

once i dump the nand,
where exactly will it be?

ok so if i dump the nand,
i have to exit the menu?
and put back my ORIGINAL battery?
then go to usb connection and back up the file ( still not sure were it is)
then once iv done that,
i take out the ORIGINAL battery, then put the pb inside, and THEN do the 3.71 m33-2 installation?!

last thing,
i dump the NAND,
so its backed up on my memory stick,
once i have it backed up, i don't have to connect it to computer and put it there ( i can do this AFTER the 3.71 m33 installtion)
because my NAND is SAFE on the memory stick right?

so i dump nand, ( its on mem stick)
then i install? (3.71m33-2)

Your fine to make a backup with the custom firmware. If you happen to have issues and use the NAND backup to restore the PSP it will just restore it as is now with the custom firmware installed.

(80020148)" Was wondering if there's a way around this.

Use the OS Pandora Battery tool. The Pandora battery Creator uses 1.50 kernel. But the OS Pandora Battery tool uses 3.XX kernel.

im not upgrading my psp since last 8 months.. thats y im confuse...

thx for the answer...

you don't need to do this, just search for the cfw you want to upgrade to like 3.90 Easy Installer and your all set.
bro... is that Easy Installer can upgrade my PSP even without using Magic Memory Stick and Pandora Batery?

i downloaded 3.80 Easy Installer but theres nothing happen when i used it... it only reboot my PSP

MY PSP HISTORY: 1.5>3.10 OE-A> 3.51 M33> 3.52 M33>3.52 M33-4>3.71 M33-2 > 3.90 M33 > 3.90 M33-2
