Working (finally) burn was done on:
-Verbatim 8x DVD+DL disc
-Burned at 4x with imgburn, using layer break
-very early release (yay newsgroups!)
-error 001 patched

Previous NON-Working copies were burned on Fujifilm DVD+DL 2.4x discs (they are terrible, but all i could get my hands on at the time), I thought it may be my wii, so i adjusted my laser down to just under 500ohms... wishing i hadnt done that now, and i recommend that before you do anything like that, try some different media!

I have a USA Wii, fully updated, and a WiiKey with 1.9S update

I'm not familiar with Friidump since I don't have a correct LG dvd-rom. Is your dvd-rom one of those LG drive that can read Wii disc? If yes, it might be a media problem. Try use Verbatim.

I simply patched the iso file with this ppf, then used RegionFrii to change the iso back to NTSC/USA (since the patch will change the region to PAL.) My disc loaded magically with no issues, and I do not have duplicate channels on my Wii menu.
