Do you know for sure if the box is Genuine (Not a Clone)?

If it is genuine then pull the power & re-connect again real quick & try to flash again.

The Eurovox has been doing a full power scan for 20 minutes. Any one know how long it takes? Worried it is just stuck....(",)*

May take a while dependent on the amount of TPs for your provider, where are you located and with what provider. I presume you have a live feed and are plugged directly into it and then into the RF/Cable In socket on the back of the EV?

I have a live feed and am plugged directly into it and then into the RF/Cable In socket on the back of the EV. i chose the 6887 symbol rate and it kept going red and green in the quality bar. Trying the other symbol rate now and it's coming up only green in the quality bar. I'm with nthell in dublin...(",)*

Its a Channel Dump File. Its basically a list of all the channels frequencies for a particular area/provider. You will find my one for N** Dublin in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post. You will find guides also on how to dump a channel file.

The one marked Sc0user in the Eurovox CDF folder http://www.4shared.com/file/37910544/657...rified=60f4dc62 . Download it and you then download it to your EV with the firmware you have where it says channel data browse to my CDF,(where you have it saved on your PC), and press download .

Make sure to clear your channel data first. Press, menu, config and clear channel data.

just finished updating eurovox maxV and everything went well, got a few extra channels also, only one slight problem that was easily fixed,

when sky sports came on after a few seconds it was in "letterbox" and after checking other channels only some were also in letterbox, went to tv settings and changed screen mode "Full Frame"

while in the tv settings i noticed that "signal booster" was off, should this be on?

a big thank you to everyone here that was so helpful, especially SG8 for his very easy to follow step by step guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/653745
