no you dont speak for everyone here by saying that, I am in total agreeance with burningas, and i think he is very smart for what he is doing. with that being said lets keep this post on track without the need for moderator involvment.

if all of us are anal on cooling, then why have some people resorted to watercooled 360? even falcons, they still watercooled.

Nice job so far BurningAs better than any stock XBox 360 you can buy(including any falcon system).I'm still working out my plans on water cooling the XBox 360 I have which is taking me some time.Just wanted to say it looks nice to me,and can't wait to see it when its finished.The only issue I have is MS should be paying you for fixing their F'ups including everyone else that gets the RROD not the other way around.I mean what good is bringing out falcons and what not if everyone has to go out and buy a brand new system.The majority of people can't afford to go buy a new system everytime they redesign it.If they collected their junk and replaced it with one of the new redesigns then I wouldn't have any problems with MS,but we all know that aint gonna happen.The system design is horrible anyone with electronic knowledge can tell.

This guy is desperate.
Thinking about adding even 1 more 60X15 Aluminum fan over the hard drive, but not sure if budget will allow this- but I will accept Donations! lol.

I've heard of fan mods but yours takes the cake. LOL. Back here, i mailed my 3RL/RROD console to someone who fixes the issue and adds extra fans. Definitely runs cooler, but a little more humming from fans. It even beats my other 360 (falcon) at cooling.
I can just imagine what THOSE fans can do. Better weight it down. might actually fly out the window!

Well, this beast is almost done. Everything is assembled except for the left side temp and switch panel. I seem to have mis calculated and the temp LCD and switch are too thick. I can cut down the LCD to make it thinner, btu I'm still figuring out the switch. I think the best way is to buy another, low profile switch.
Anyway. I hooked everything up and did a test run. To my amazement, all 9 additional fans sound just a bit more distinct than just the talismoon max. One thing people whine about the fan noise, most think the more fans you have the noise goes up in linear relationship. This is false. decibels don't add up. If you are in a concert of 100 people, each person talks at normal conversational 60 db, if everyone is talking at once it doesn't add up to 1000db (Jet engine is 140dB.) Similarly with fans, the loudest fan is 40dB, the whole system will be around 40dB, it doesn't become a 200dB xbox that's louder than a jet engine.
Now about the cooling. I did some preliminary tests with Grid. I have the temp sensor stuck right over the GPU- the hotest spot in the xbox. Not just anywhere over the GPU heatsink, but right over the GPU processor.
In game the temp settles at 114.6F with just the Talismoons, which is a bit over stock. I press the on switch to the 9 additional fan contraption and GPU cools about 4 degrees cooler to 110.4F, pretty amazing since it's 4 degrees drop directly over the GPU chip. I am predicting 10 degree drop over CPU and 15 degree drop elsewhere.
All I have to say is, these results match up to water cooled results.

Its pretty close BurningAs,but I think water cooling is a little bit cooler 101ºF( 38.4ºC ).A stock XBox 360 has a temp at 150.8ºF( 66ºC )or somewhere in that range.The temperatures you are getting aren't bad though and are close to water cooling not exactly matched up but pretty close.The temperature you are getting 110.4ºF( 43.6ºC ) aint bad at all bro,but I'm gonna stick with water cooling.
