Has anyone got the manual off their euro-vox. Does it tell you how to unlock the box in it.

Nope, this is the UK fix with Autosort, give that a go if you want, and try to let it update on a channel with a strong signal, just needs a kickstart, try Diney, Sky 2 Sports 1/2/3 even the God channel, it will kick in and update, it is trial and error I'm afraid.

not sure. i loaded the new software on to the box and that's working fine, there's 3 lights on the front of the box and the "lock" one is green and won't let me use the remote. I've tried a different remote and that didn't work either. I can only change the channel using the buttons on the box it's self.

Strange one that, the green one is the lock light, and that is normal to have on, but you should only have that one when it is on and working, have you tried just switching it off at the back for a minute. To be honest it's the first time that anyone has posed (at least that I know of) that question, three lights mmmm, maybe someone will come along with a simple answer. But in the meantime I will have a look around for you, and if I find anything I will get back to you okay.

To be honest I have done a search, and that question was posted in February this year, but not one reply, must have missed that, will keep on looking. So you have the box working, and you have the standby light ON - the lock light ON and the the message light ON?

wow finally after reading man many posts i have managed to get setanta sports........yup u guessed it my very first flash of the eurovox, and my first dreaded powerscan, man i'm over the moon. a big massive thank you to all the peoples hard work in creating a: the flash guide ,b: the fix and c: to everyone with their posts, queries and answers. Guys, how do you mean go to a channel, and it will kickstart? is this normal- you see, it worked fine for 4 days after downloading new fix, then it started happening on thursday. You get me? Is this normal? Liammoo, ill have a look at a disk i have somewhere tomorrow, and ill write how you get to that comport thing mate. ill be on here around 7 maybe tomorrow. Malci, can you answer that above if you can? I really appreciate it. Cheers all.

Hi chewball, First of all you are in Ireland right, now because they have applied the same key ROM change method there as they did in the UK, so they went down on Thurday in Ireland okay, this then left you with no option than to use the UK fix over there. Now what I am saying is that there is no further fix, but I do not think that you flashed your box last Saturday with the UK fix (or did you?), if you did then you got a head start on every one else, that is probably where we are getting our wires crossed (so to speak), so I think it is down to the fact that you need to flash your box as said with the UK fix. Did you see the post made by scOuser informing people in Ireland The very first post. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

hi guys can any help...ive just flashed my m8s eurovox 2008 with the 8% fix ..the box work fine when i done it in my house,how ever when i took it bak .its not doin any thg....when i plug i it there is a red light on standy by and just 2 green dots on display and it wont do any thg??? can u help?????

My box has 0000 at the front ive also tried reset button
When i hold reset and start d\load with power on let go of reset it brings me to the scan for channels but laptop says waiting on box ?

sorry for the late reply,out and about had enough today trying to flash box.. so uncool. i will be online at 7.00 tomorrow thanks for taking the time to hopefully fix stupid box!!!!

Hey - I had this problem and solved it by waiting until it says "Waiting for the response of your receiver..." then unplugging the power cable from the back of the box and plugging it back in immediately. Then it worked fine.

Hi, does anybody know how to get the subtitles working for a eurovov EX1000SL, i press text and then select subtitles but nothing works. Any help would be appreciated.

I just downloaded the latest firmware file to my eurovox max v
Everything seemed to go exactly same way as the upgrade I did back in May, although this time its still saying its WAITING FOR CODES TO BE UPDATED
I have it on Sky Sports 1 and waiting on that?
Any ideas how long it takes?
I'm on chorus in Ireland. The powerscan all worked???

Hi there trying to set up eurovox1000 sl in Newbridge Co Kildare for my mate i did a factory reset set to scan between 290 and 420 Mhz
on symbol rate 6875 did scan seems to be finding channels but then gets stuck saying code being updated any one got any ideas .

I have same problem with my eurovox in Naas on chorus just up the road form you....also no problem finding the channels when doing the power scan
