That was my hunch - when it's fully rolled out then the crack will come I guess.

Guys
I have recently moved and had Eurovox hooked up to N&L digital in old place. The new place seems to have a live connection as I can pick up the old analogue channels (bout 20 of them). Can I use the box with this connection? I know it does not matter as N3 has been rolled out, but just for future reference
Cheers

Im sure if you ask around you will see why he was suspended prob down to the reason he now has his own forum and no longer wants to be here im sure there is other reasons as well but that is up to him to tell you if he wants he does have another account on here so im sure he might drop in and answer you
Unfortunately i only pass on information on possible places to buy its up to the individual to take the advice or not there choice but as we have seen from this person >>> KWALL99 selling his boxes for ?160.00 each and then edited his post today to show ?100.00 he obliviously thinks we are all fools on here im sure he will wake up and smell the roses some day lol

Hah!
I'm not splashing out the wanga for the kryptviews just yet. Too paranoid about N3 coming down the pipes.
As for the other stuff, I was just curious about why he was suspended - now I know lol.
I'll leave that other private stuff under the surface to you guys ;-)
By the way whats the craic with the programming & times all screwed up on the eurovox's? Will the latest firmware sort this out or do I have to live with that temporary "turn off & change GMT settings" fix?
It's beginning to bug me now! :-)

I wont hold my breath now as its nearly 9 weeks now since the boxes have gone down so i think you will have to make do with what you are using as its highly unlikely there will be any more fixes out for any other boxes

Yeah I guess so - and I believe that Nagra3 has been out in Spain & Portugal since '07 & there's no crack for it yet.
Hence why I've agreed to let NT* upgrade me to digital+ for an extra euro a month with their new STB. At least I'll have proper digital now on the TV & live record etc.
Then when (& if) the guru's crack N3 we'll all upgrade or buy new boxes & go back to getting codes & firmwares on N4 - yesshamessh!!!

Maybe take a look at this

I run a few UG boards in the states and have been testing different encryption methods for various providors since '95
Normally I test plastic but have played w/ various FTA boxes just for fun. FTA is very simple and w/ the exception of a few boxes like Dreambox and Captiveowrks the STB's are closed source. All FTA's do essentially is emulate what the cam's (Conditional Access Modules) do. So w/out compromising the providers CAM's there can be no FTA. The reason some FTA's run longer or stay up longer is simple and it goes back to being closed source.
Each company usually has a small group of people who modify the hacked providor code to make it operational on their own equipment. Some people call them coders but really they are just writing and or re-writing front end stuff to make their GUI's all nice and pretty.
Now depending on which hacked code they have access too will depend on it's reliability and longevity. Whenever Kuldesky sends an ECM the real coders will re-write a patch the circumvent the values within the ECM. Once that patch is written it is leaked or sold to FTA groups who re-write it and presto the FTA's are back up and running.
I know this is my first post and i am from the states and blah blah frickin blah but I just wanted to make this one post and hope that it may help to clear some things up. Nagra 3 has been compromised so you can all rest assured the game is not over. These peaks and valleys of testing have gone on since the beginnig of encryption and will not stop now.
cheers

Once again I must re-iterate that I do not have an intimate knowledge of your specific systems in the UK but I can tell you that FTA is working w/ N3 via IKS and we're working on emulation now which will prevent having to to IKS in the future.
that is all i am going to say any further on this subject
thanks again for welcoming me

can some one clarify this for me please. in the uk are we currently running on nagra 1 and ireland has just shifted to nagra 2. and the only box capable of working with nagra 2 the kryptview. and is ireland going to go to nagra 3 shortly with no boxes capable of decrypting nagra 3. then if they implement this in the uk would jump straight from nagra 1 to 3 hope ive made sense and thanks.
