Hi all,
Swapped over to a KV A750 a couple of weeks ago and all is well again.
My old black EuroVox Max V 2008 is gathering dust but I have a friend on Cho**us in the midlands (Irish Midlands that is) and I was wondering a) will it work for him if I 'donate' it in return for a few beers next time I see him, b) do I need to re-flash it (currently set up for N*L Dublin) and c) where can I get a link to a guide for flashing it for Ch**us in the Midlands?

it does not have to be reflashed as long as he is on cable it will work if he is on MMDS aerial type on roof it will not work for him he just need to scan the box using 6875 as the symbol rate thats all

How can I tell if he's on MMDS? He has a cable feed and no 'ariel' or satelite.

if he is in a main housing estate chances is he is on plain cable all you can do is give him the box and let him try

Would I need to do anything special. There is ntl point and we have the analogue channels. I plugged in the eurovox however when I go to the channel on the tv that it worked on in previous house, nothing appears. Just black screen.
Its that long since I setup I could have my cables wrong. Cable connection into RF IN and normal ariel cable from Loop Out to TV. Am I missing something?
Any ideas?

you are after taking a box from nt* area and you are trying to get it to work in a cho*** area so what you need to do is menu config clear data factory reset to 6887 when it has that done the next screen you need to do a new scan this time on cho*** so top box start == 320.000 finish === 480.000 symbol rate 6875 and scan on that you should pick up the channels then it will take about 40 mins so just leave it to do what is needed

Hi I hope someone can help I have a Eurovox 1000SL I downloaded the flash but when I try to update is just tells me its waitin for a responce ?!?! I have checked the co port working fine. I'm losein the will to live Please please help

If your using a RF lead you dont plug it into the loop out to your TV, you plug the RF lead to the TV like below otherwise use a scart as Karl said.

nice to see you back hiteckkk did want to say thanks for all the help over the last couple of years between you fergusrb and all the others thanks for all the help not only on the euro vox but the help with my sisters digivox,my mates starview and my mothers origional eurovox and so on and so on thanks gerry in dublin.
