Do you mean the Default Key, if so then Menu - 1570 into Cas system and go down to where it says Set Default Key and Press OK and exit out to an encrypted channel, if you want to test for Auto-Udate.
If you Mean Factory Re-Set then Menu, go down to Factory Settings Press OK and enter 0000 then Press OK to confirm.

Not as I'm aware, but anyway, they aint even rolled the keys since last Thursday...hardly like these fixes are a pressing emergency anymore. Search the net and bang in the keys for your provider until (or rather if) a fix for your box comes around. It's not like you have to do it once or even 2 or 3 times per day anymore. Seems they've finished being awkward for now.

eBay have seemingly ignored my protestations about the seller that is selling the latest software fixes, even though it is not their own work and should come free. Anyone else wish to try and report them, please feel free.
Check out listing number 250338967702...that's just one of several they have up. They were previously trying to flog Keymaster, too, which is also freeware and not their own work. Frigging vultures, they're nothing better.

Malci,I have downloaded new firmware to s/v the box allworking .We then tried another s/v the box but whilst the firmware down loads ok we plug in to the t/v but Igo into nagravision and cannot get t/pest to come up as provider.reading earlier post Ithought Iwould try this .Any help would be greatly appreciated.Emu is switched on

If TW does not appear when in Nagra by using the < > arrow key, exit out and press Default keys, exit to TV let it upfate and then go in again it should be there, try that. But why are you trying to get Telepest in Nagravision if you have updated the box? it is A/U firmware.

Hi everyone, hav been reading these threads vigorously but cannot find a solution for my problem. I'm having a flash failure.
i hav the boxsuper API version 7.05e_E boot ver: 8.0 10th april 2008...
i hav all the correct cables & i've tried numerously to download of my XP but all i get is flash failed!
EVERYTIME 0%
so then i run it on my old laptop which runs on ME.. & i'm managing to get 2 maybe 3 % then the box kicks into re-boot.. the max it's actually achieved is 9% & i hav done this a trillion times to no avail.
please can someone help?

Delete the firmware you have and download it again, it may be corrupt, you are better staying with the old laptop if it has a 9 pin port on it, so you can use the NULL MODEM lead straight from laptop to the box, now if that does not work, then you definately have not got the correct NULL MODEM lead. There is a straight serial RS232 lead and a NULL MODEM lead and to the naked eye they look exctly the same, but they are wired differently, go to here to check. >>>>>>>>> courtesy of Hiteck >>

the cables you hi-lighted in your link are the exact ones i brought from maplins..
perhaps i should try a re-order of the cable?.. but i'm doubtful.. as they are exactly identical to the ones cited in your link

Your welcome, but are you sure that you don't have the correct cable/s before splashing out anymore, but on the other hand if you are using an old laptop with the 9 pin port and just the NULL MODEM lead it should be no problem, so I hope you are more successful this time around.
