Don't bother, the PS2 couldn't handle it even if there were.

I have looked through a few pages of this post but i still don't see my the answer to my question. You have a listing for a snes emulator and nes emulator. I don't see a dedicated link for nes. Does the snes emulator mentioned in the faq's play nes roms? I already checked their website but didn't see an answer. Thanks for your help. I am a big fan of retro gaming and any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi, i have a messiah chipped ps2, and has been working fine until now, now whenever i put any of my backups in i get the red screen saying "please insert a playstation or playstation 2 format disc" , original games are working fine, can anybody help me out ? thanks

Probably your laser going bad, it's always easier for the PS2 to read originals. Try cleaning it. If that doesn't work I'd say just get a new laser. You're wasting valuable God of War time.

hi i just got into the whole swap magic thing
and i've been renting and burning games. some don';t work but whatever.
my question is does anybody know where i could download ps 2 games off the internet for free and without doing that stupid voting thing iff anybody knows pleeeease tell me.

Download PS2 games?
Without the original its illegal, and with the original, you do not have to download games off the internet - you can just burn your original.
Anyways, you could always try torrents for downloading PS2 games.

Thanks, I can't spend as much time on backups/PS2 as I used to recently. If anyone wants me to make changes just post. Contributions get props as always.

my ps2 is the new slim version. it tried recording a game with Alcohol 120%, using DVD-R...but i testeed it but is doesn't work...do i have to hav my ps2 modded to read backed up games????i cant afford to buy original ones. please help me n find me a way to play new games...where can i find nod chips in canada?

No, not at all.
You can mod it to wor with swap discs though if you use the tape method, do a search on it.

Me personaly I would use swap magic with the fliptop,.. Everyone has there own thing, some people say oh thats the cheap way out but money isnt an issue when it comes to that for me, I dont mind swaping disk.... The V12 Slim Tool forces the tray open, me personally I dont like that idea, Over time the gears may strip.... The Mod chip, if you have a new PS2 and dont mind risking losing the warranty and dont mind someone or your self risking frying your PS2 soldering,then go for it

but the thing is here is that if i assemble it. it will void my warranty...(ive read the manual)i dun wanna break the warranty seal...but is Slim Kit Pro v3.6 for V12 ok??have u seen someone using it?

I've never even played or seen the new slim in action... I can help you out more if it was my version or lower b/c I have experince on my machine... I wouldnt recommend using the KIt, me.. I would get that flip top and swap magic.. even on the slim.. If its under warranty then it want hurt to get the kit with the slim tool, b/c if you break the tray or something then just send it off under warranty but when the warranty ends its a differant story...

Ender88, about playing SNES games on Ps2, i cant get it to work. I have a Slide magic card 3.6 but thats not the problem. I cant find the files,
SYSTEM.CNF
SNES_EMU.001
SNES_EMU.002
SNES_EMU.003
So i can to a stop, i cant do anthing without this file. and the program used is in spanigh.

holla holla!!
I recently got my ps2 chipped wit an infinity. I've been using it to play Tekken 5 NTSC fine but today i went in to the config menu to see if i could change the screen position cos it has been cutting quite a bit off. I tried to change the "screen fix" (although i'm not sure if that was right) and now it won't load any imports or back-ups and the little "infinity" sign that appears next to the "Playstation 2" logo on boot up has disappeared. I can still access the config menu so i don't think its broke. And i've reset all the config menu options to their original settings. Anyone any ideas? I'm a noob to chips so don't know if im missing something obvious.
I know that "tayyab" mentioned this above and ender88 says his pasers is gone but i think mine is fine.
Any help would be ace. Cheers
