It will just leave it on the likes of Sky 2, some say Disney channel, it is trial and error at the minute to find the best, it just needs a kickstart that's all.

It seems to be quite slow to update, try leaving it on s*y sports two, or one of the s*y movie channels.
I know i did a couple today they took hours to sort out.

Unable to hit a load of URL's from NTL in Dublin.
I've found a work-around.................
Got to: http://www.daveproxy.co.uk/
Input the 4shared URL of choice
Make sure to UNCHECK the Remove Scripts link
Then got to all your URL's as normal !

DesB. I saw this earlier. I was worried about uploading links as they were UK images and the dates seemed to be for earlier in eh year or even 2007. I have commando 8.2 and blade trinity downloaded since earlier this afternoon. I can flash image no problem but will I have to do anything else or should it work. i.e. do i need to find codes which we cant discuss in detail here or should I be ok. Just wondering as I know nothing about the latter.

the updating channel is some what area dependent, for most dublin areas use sly2,others have luck with sly movies premier, sly movies si/fi horror, nic junior, only after you flash the proper fix to your box that is,.......

Yea ..think your right ..I'm with N*L Broadband and none of the 4shared links are working ...Is this a bit of a risk trying to access 4shared site , can they see attempts by anyone to access this site and put 2+2 together and come up with 44

That's the trouble, it needs a little bit of patience and trial and error to find the right to do the job for you.

hi again des i have been trying to download the latest fix for ev max v for awhile now but it wasnt picking up any channels so i reflashed it with the 18/04/08 one and is all fine now should i leave as is or am i going to have the same probs as earlier and should i persist with the latest fix just doesnt seem to be working for me, i was trying to download the 5/12/08 firmware ,cheers

Hey,
Massive thanks to the fellas giving advice and providing links to firmware etc. Flashed my SV 2 with UK bin and restored my channel dump, working A-ok and just in time for 'Lead Ballon' with Jack Dee..
Nice one lads, you should have a beer fund as it's certainly deserved.
