no its strictly for the EX1000SL.. i think - possibility of bricking ur box w/ wrong firmware

Most clones have a silver heatsink on the CPU. Other internal differences may include red blobs on board screws and cheap looking ribbon cables.
Although I have recently seen a member here and elsewhere say their box looked the same as a genuine model and it still required a jtag, so I cannot be 100% sorry.

ive seen clone sl 1000 and are identical no red superglue or heatsink that used to be on 2006 model ,there are mainy high profile websites selling clones no doubt a few will be found out in the next few days

So the rumours so far have turned out to be true.
To those that know where this fix came from - is there any talk of a fix for the EX5000 or EX5100?

i have a problem just updated the new firmware on mt eurovox 1000 and did a factory reset by accident and now after i do a power scan its coming up no transponder to scan could someone help

Glad to see some people get a much awaited fix!
Congrats to whoever made it on a job well done!
Was it Eurovox themselves or did some clever people stick their heads together to make the fix?
Also, any idea if they'll be doing anything for my poor EX5000? :)
