all these channels disappering im still none the wiser and im in d15 which is strange

ya need to state where ya are,
In the dub area, check if there is being work being done or if there are outages in your area, could be a localized problem

Aye mate, was just asking that chap from d15 as the service in dublin is working 100 percent,
Think is time perhaps to look at alternatives sitja, perhaps dreamboxs and sat etc, cant see N3 been cracked anytime soon and box makers know this, but like anything, dont get rid of yer box yet, ya never know what could be down the road ; - )

its ok set it up got a few test c lines to see how it goes and they worked to. some werent great but others were quite good.

Would a Dreambox 500c potentially decode all channels (for purely educational purposes) broadcast using Nagra 3 on cable?
I'm very confused on all this. Sorry.

This is where I'm getting confused though.
Sat. (S*y) is nagra 3 right? Dreambox 500s can decode that.
Cable. Ch*rus is also nagra3, and Dreambox 500c cannot decode it?

Lads,
Have read thread. Thanks for all input.
I'm in north co dublin (cho**s), using SV3, with f/ware ver 8.04 e.
All channels gone except RTE1 and Setan** Irl.
Very strange !
Is there any way of even getting basic FTA channels (BBC, UTV etc ..)on SV3 ? As reception tru Box better than feed direct to TV.
Why cant it process the FTA channels which I get anyway when I plug cable direct into TV ?
Any feedback welcome.
What is best sattelite to invest in going forward - as I do not intend to pay ransom to S*y on UP*.

rs2kie the dm500s isnt decoding it as you may think..... someone is still paying a subscription just sharing it out. so its still pay tv and if you plan on going the satellite way its still pay but maybe not as much.

Ok thanks anyway. A woman working with my daughter said a fella fixed her sisters box for 60 euro. She said she will get the code. I wouldnt hold my breath but we will see.

I cant believe Chor*s have put RTE 2 on Nagra 3.
I have my Chor*s box downstairs and I'm paying for their digital max package.I was quite happy to stay with Chorus as long as they let Network 2 alone as I could watch Champions league on my old eurovox upstairs.But that's it,I'm definitely going back to Sky now.
Is there any way of getting RTE 2 back on the eurovox?

Take the chorus lead out of the box and put it inti the telly. Search for channels and you will have rte1 rte2 tv3 and tg

It's not a telly I have upstairs(attic room),its an Infocus projector.
Still have RTE 1 and Setanta Ireland but it was RTE 2 I really wanted.

sounds like he is running the projector from the box?? The projector will only play whats feed to it,
Now if ya want network 2, google JACK TV mate, you will get it via a laptop in HD mate then you can connect to a INFOCUS, the infocus works like a TV connected to the laptop,

Thanks for the advise.I'll check out Jack Tv.
The way I had it running was an aerial cable feeding off the Chor*s box in to the eurovox.I then had the Eurovox connected to a Marantz receiver which was connected to the Infocus projector.Had two Eurovox's not too long ago,one feeding of the other.It was great while it lasted.

you should not have the eurovox feeding of your ch**** box, take the cable off that, and use direct feed to the box and rescan your box, from the main feed
