Happy birthday for last week then, theone! I've noticed this too about Hounds and aD, there are nowhere near as many high level users on other forums than here.

Stick around you will only miss-out on learning if you leave...and one should learn something new every day...
And I will be 45 tomorrow...
Now that were on this subject, I have a question...I am new to this forum and want to contribute more...what is the easiest way to pair up my knowledge base with the forums...I install ultra highend home theatres on average 6 to 7 figure installs...I have extensive knowledge in Backing-up DVD and building computers...I aso own a video store, I have access to all movies before release dates...

PM gerry1 I believe he hangs around home theater area. You'll be good at helping there and anyone who lives near you will want to be your new best friend with your access to new DVDs, LOL. Also read thru all the listed forums, specifically the "Home Theater" forums.

I wouldn't even bother joining any of them. They seem to spend more time insulting each other or coming up with BS quips that only idiots like themselves understand, than learning about anything. After all, they know it all! You would absolutely laugh at some of the dumb answers they give! I joined THG forums and quit the same day. I posted a benchmark and got told off by several people for it. You know, like how dare I interupt their BS with something technical. Another group of idiots on TG forums told me that I didn't know what I was talking about! While I'm far from the smartest person in the world when it comes to computers, I'm a genious compared to the clowns over there, so I'll just stay here and the Hounds and continue learning and contributing when I can!

Oh, that's so true! aD may have it's upsides and downsides, but put it this way, I've only contributed majorly to three forums, Afterdawn, DVDHounds and GTPlanet. They're the only forums I can post something and expect some sort of response that'll actually be helpful or thoughtful.

six weeks, 1982, I don't believe it's been released on DVD yet. I have it on VCR tape only, I might have it on laser disc, I would have to check tomorrow.

Lol what a legendary film! I could ask for a film here, but I'm reasonably sure for some reason it was only made into region 1 DVD despite being a european-made film, it's "wrongfully accused" - a spoof of the fugitive with Leslie Nielsen.

The only Forum i have ever liked and have ever posted on is on AD.
the nice warm glow of the orange themed pages make you feel like a part of the community, i dotn like all those other sites the forums dont look good all metalic and grey with a feeling of uneasyness, i hope they never change the design of afterdawn, or if they do i wish they give you an option for a classical view or something, do you get me?
