the only thing iv'e said in this thread is that

c/s works on n3 in ireland and the uk.
now if your talking about the starview 6
then they say it works on n3 c/s in ireland
maybe if you had one off them boxes you could try it
all you need is the file to flash to the box.

I can confirm this method worked fine for me and is updateable for any changes made in the future:

Where the box (which ever version you have) displays the make/model take some tipex and cover completely until no remains of the make/model can be seen.

Using either a powerful hair dryer or blowtorch, dry the previously tipexed area.

Using a felt tip pen write over the area "Starview 7" (as everyone knows the starview 6 isn't compatible with Nagra 3).

For future updates repeat the process with which ever fictional working version of starview is currently unavailable.

***IMPORTANT PART TO GET THE CHANNELS***
position your tv by a window adjacent to someone who has on the channel you desire watching and punch a hole through it so you can easily see their tv either with the naked eye or a telescope. Next,open the window and take a large horn and stick it in your ear pointing the larger end towards their tv.

Finally.....ENJOY!!!!! YOUR CHEAP AND YOU KNOW YOU ARE!!!!!
