What results do you get with SLI off? I don't think Vegas 2 works well with dual graphics tech.

i tested it with SLI disabled........and now i get 18 FPS average.....

Hmm, I've not progressed that far with Vegas 2, primarily because I've been playing a lot of multiplayer games. Based on benchmarks though, using any manifestation of an 8800 you should be able to pull at least 25fps solidly at 1680x1050, let alone 1440x900. You don't have Anti-Aliasing turned on in the control panel anywhere do you?

where would i turn on AA in the control panel?
is it in the nvidia control panel?

Imran, try getting the newest BETA drivers from NVIDIA. They are much better and give a definite performance increase.

beyond the 8800GTS G80? Yes indeed, but Vegas 2 doesn't run that badly even on an X1900...

dude...the newest drivers are not BETA....

60fps on high settings is excellent, but that is a very low resolution, so it's to be expected.

but unfortunately my monitor (Viewsonic 19" lcd) doesn't go above 1440 x 900.....and i really don't want to buy a new monitor cause i bought this one just last summer annnnnnnnnd, i usually tend to keep monitors for a very very loooong time...
