there was, the Starview combo, which is now history, there are combos, but nothing opening the cable side in the UK, so its either Sat or Krypt

Right,so with the a750 I take it there was no LAN feed so you need the iconect being an older unit? But the a780 comes ready to rock?

750 need iconnect which you can purchase the 780 has in built
dcreceivers.com or skywonder.co.uk try both suppliers

i can someone please tell me if its worth it using starview7. mine has stopped working for ages and recently i heard i can call and subscribe to get it working again.. please i need help on this one. please...we are big family and the house is boring without it. tnx

figof....this is the file you need mate for your SV7 (SMGO221)

just follow the steps above to load the file to your sv7.
If after the necessary steps your box does connect, then it will have a expiry date, to check this you press Menu on remote, Utilites then System Info
If your box displays a login box "Not Registered Box" then you will have to contact the SV team for a sub. Its all somewhere on this thread, just look up.

Don't bother paying them sv lot you'll only end up dissapointed again,if people pay them then their laughing at you.Just look for another unit like I have and teach Them a lesson for their greed.What have you to lose you seen yourself how unreliable their service is,if you pay now you'll pay forever!!!!

thats if you can get thru to their paypal account m8, which is not setup for some reason only kiddy/sv team can answer. they jumped ahead onto step 2 before completing step 1, lol
once they had paypal acc in place, only then they shud have released the little programme to forums, totally disorganised jak***

kryptview is the only other box that works on cable....if u look above u will see channels currently working on it, but they are better than starview.
have u considered going satelite? you will have more choices with satelite, more servers.

yes but with satelite do i get all sky sports channels? my friend is using it but he is not getting football channels, espn, sky sports etc.. any idea why...
do all these channels work on kryptview?

Not a good track record for Sv is it really, and now they want people to sub to them, with a track record like that i would if people can go Sat side, for people that cant well Kv is the best option at around £140 a box.

Hi,I've had every sv box right upto series6 and I'm dissapointed not only with the service but with how they just drop people.They don't care who out of pocket as long as it ain't them.I've decided on the krypt a780 as it was recommended by e45 and mickah,I should of taken their advice 5 month ago and missed ship,this time SV can sink without me!
