it has bin up the wall all week. clinching and sum no video scrambled.
A woman drove me to drink and I never even had the courtesy to thank her.

for signal and quality press the info button for channel your watching...
and for cactikid nearly all channels are S 77 Q 86 but national geo is S 88 Q 86
i think e45 said that vm are cutting signal to none subbers, i have phone internet and basic tv.

yes agreed they are cutting off non subscribers,and seen other users around with same problem with downtime and now back up and running so kv did have an issue.

my box has not been running great either,alot of glitching on some channels some of the others not working and some are running fine,

are they just going round to green boxes and diconnecting there as im non payer but in a quiet area with lots of old people who probably dont use service

if thats the case just get the tv service basic channels and small internet package, you can not do anything with no feed, just think about it

the smaller the numbers the more problems you will have boxes need around the 78/80 mark for good viewing,how many of you are using old coaxial and connections?newer cable will have less loss and can improve viewing.

thanks for the reply and possible answer but would it just go bad all of a sudden and not gradually.
also i bought new cables when i purchased box so about 2 yrs. and as a repeat some channells are perfect ss2 for instance but ss1 and 4 and ssF1 are terrible and footy is on ss1 :(

presume everybody is on latest firmware update and reading around other places have good working kv boxes and some are off,if it was kv they would be all down ,as the uk is on its last bit of upgrading all areas to digital it is probably all the upgrading that is affecting boxes,have you checked your areas for problems?
yes its possible for tps to go as channels come and go and if working on them may drop right down.

turned the box on last night and all the channels are working very little glitching looks like all back to normal.

Just a wee update everyone im not 100% sure but I think kv is no more the last few days most channels have been off with message on screen say no or bad signal just tried doing a factory reset and only picked up ch 1 to 5 and just the hd chs.anyone else having the same problems???

odd channel missing but thats expected but others ok
update vm are having probs with bb and tv service with lost channels

a question, why is my ss1 so bad(glitching and picture shaking) its been like it for a week, would a rescan via direct feed solve it, i dont want to rescan if not needed.
also there has been talk of vm reducing signal of non sub people if i removed my phone sub (if possible) and just had bb would that be affected.

I have got the same problem in Liverpool. I have phone, internet and basic tv with vm. I will check my signal levels.

Just checked.
BBC 1 - Signal 82, Quality 79
SS1 - Signal 82, Quality 0 (No or a bad signal)
The signal seems okay, but not the quality, does anyone understand why ?
