does anyone recommend going out to get a v7-v10 to be able to use the cd loader with options? i cant for the life of me get everything or nothing and true crime to play and theyre both on swapmagicfix... i'd say it was my burning technique but i got GT3 to play fine so i dunno...

you can use the cdloader with options on any version ps2.
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader

i tried the options on my V4 and nothing... i guess i cant burn these like i burned GT3... I'm using Toast to do a DVD image copy... i've used Memorex and Imation DVD-R... Has anyone else has a EVERYTHING or NOTHING problem?

I installed WIN rar and tried to download DVDloader on the link you provided but I can't download it...is my computer messed up...what is the problem??...I the page i get is all letters and numbers(code or something)

well i just backed up a game that isnt on swap magic fix.com and it worked... i use the cd loader but they dont work... is there something extra i need to do when burning a game thats listed on swapmagicfix?

if cd loader didn't work, you didn't use it right. what steps did you take?

i used gameshark to load up the cd loader. at the first screen i inserted GTA Vice City... i hit X... it said swap for EA. i swapped for the backup hit X.. borders got some crazy colors and it went to black... nothing... did i miss something?

i have a version 4 ps2 so there are no options.. i did however try the v7all just in case but it still did not work... can't figure this out

If the game is a DVD then follow these directions.
1.Swapmagic CD
2.CD Loader, press X
3.Press eject
4.Insert Swapmagic DVD Press X
5.Use your fliptop or slide card to put game disc, Press X.

yes, options should work, but he has the non v7 cd loader, which doesn't have options.

I have'nt seen Riguy mention that he is using Swapmagic DVD after CD Loader though.

im using Gameshark and using GTA Vice City for the TOC. I read that you SHOULD get the same results. Should i be using Swap Magic Only? Is that the issue?

ok im confused, is there two versions of the dvd loader. I downloaded the dvd loader from the link a few posts back, burned it with Nero and cant get it to work. I used my swap magic dvd disc and put in the dvd loader and get the pink freeze up screen. my ps2 is a SCPH-50001/N. What version dvd loader do i need and where can i find it, thanks!

did you download it from swapmagic fix? if so you got cd loader which needs to be booted with your swapmagic cd not you swapmagic dvd disc

If a game freezes while you paly it - it probably has been burnt at too higher speed - do it at 1x or maybe 2x if lucky. I use 1x on all games just to make sure
ps2 magic swap - slide tool

I downloaded the dvd loader from a few links back. Not the CDloader from swapmagic. My CD loader disc stopped working. I am trying to use the DVD Loader. I thought the dvdloader was the same thing as the CDloader but in dvd format. My understanding is that the DVDloader will load the discs that are listed on the swapmagic fix site. Please correct me if i am wrong.
I burned it to a dvd using Nero and I cant get it to work. V10 playstation, please help.

memorex, and whats an iso? im stupid i know. LOL.
Anyway, I extracted the files from the winrar and using Nero, i made a data dvd disc, burned all the files that were extracted from winrar onto a dvd.
It was great someone posted the link to get the dvdloader but if someone could post STEP BY STEP instructions on how to burn it would really help the people who do not have alot of experince with this kind of thing. It would also eliminate alot of double and triple posts. Thanks.
