yo how do you work that dvd loader thing cause im tryin to play a PAL game on a NTSC ps2 and it wont work

if you would actually read the thread, you would see a link for the dvd loader download.

Sorry. I figured that out after I already had written the message. I have already downloaded it but I have not tried it yet. I hope this helps with the black screen. Sorry for the inconvience.

OK. i just tried to burn the ISO image to a DVD -r using Nero and it said I needed CD media. How do I put this on a DVD?

you must have downloaded cd loader then. download DVD loader.

u just need cd loader when u go to the menu dvd loader will already be there. you inset the dvd swap magic and it will take you to a meun of dvd version

ev1l, the point of dvd loader is that it is on DVD and you load with the swap magic dvd. there is no dvd loader option in cd loader.

Yea, the site didn't work for me also..
So if someone can email the dvdloader to iownalightsaber at yahoo.ca that would be great.
I have a v10 PS2 and the swapmagic 3.0 cd (3.2usa build) doesn't seem to work, is that normal??

I used my verbatim dvd-r to burn the Dvd Loader iso file. I tried to load it with swap magic dvd with flip top method, and it could not load. (had red background)
Why isn't it working?

is there any way i can boot up my ps2 dvd backups using the gameshark2 ps1 disk? It's version 1, but my ps2 disk says version 2.01. I have a version 9 ps2 usin a homemade fliptop.

aghhhh! too many questions. lets answer them one by one:
Shouga:
you are supposed to use winrar or any other iso extracting program and extract the files to your hard drive. then u should burn the FILES (not the folder you put the files in) using Nero.
Heres a different method:
Open Nero Express (yes thats correct - Nero EXPRESS) and Click on your DVD Burner with [DVD] next to it and click Disk Image or Saved Project. Then select image files (*.nrg;*.iso;*.cue) and click on the dvdloader image file to burn it.
babymmmm:
sly is right, gameshark 2.01 will not work for v9 ps2. You would need the v9 swap disks to play your backups.

You dont burn DVD Loader onto a CD, you burn it onto a DVD. Why do you think its called DVD Loader. DVD Loader is the same thing as CD Loader except in DVD form so it can be used with Swap Magic DVD Version. This is used if CD Loader has problems loading up with Swap Magic CD Version.

Open up Nero Burning ROM. Click on File, New. On the bar on the top left corner select DVD. Then make your burning configurations the way you want them. Then click new. Next, drag all the dvd loader FILES (not the iso file or the folder in which you have extracted DVD loader to) to the left hand side. Then burn it onto a dvd.

Use WinZIP or WinRAR to extract the files and change your PAL to NTSC or vice versa.
