factory reset and rescan and see if it helps
SCANNING FOR CHANNELS.
Go to AUTOMATIC SCAN and choose your provider.
Choose NETWORK SCAN
Wait until a list of network ID's come on screen and choose the one for your area (DUB LEGACY)
Once your chosen ID is highlighted press the GREEN button, the box will start to scan for transponders. Do not worry if this takes some time and appears to be doing nothing.
The box will start to scan all transponders, don't worry if it says that some already exist.
Once the TP scan is completed the box will scan for available channels.
When the channel scan is finished the box will reboot.
Pick a scrambled channel and wait to clear, it it takes a long time switch off at mains and on again, sometimes the emu doesn't kick in straight away ;D
When channels are clear, pressing the RED button brings up a list of category choices. Green will bring up the pre-sorted categories.
If you renumber any channels to a personal preference then switch OFF powerscan mode otherwise it will re-scan them into their original positions.

If you do the above and no sounds comes out, I would contact yer supplier, sounds like a prob with the board if ya done all the above,

ya said you factory reset already above?? If you factory reset and re-scanned and still the same issue, sounds like a problem. Try the other cables and see if sound is coming from the box, if not, then I would contact the supplier

Did you unpack or unrar the file?
It has to be a BIN file that you are loading to the box, not exe or rar or zip, if you unpack the file using WINRAR or 7-zip and put it on the desktop, start the loader and select the BIN file for the box and press download and then follow this
Go to AUTOMATIC SCAN and choose your provider.
Choose NETWORK SCAN

Hi MICKAH
I downloaded the DownTool.exe and the BIN file (they were not packed) and I ran the exe and got a screen with and selected Download - It defaulted to Code Send (is this right? other options on teh menu bar are Code Si Loader K-Table)
I opened Kryptview_19032009.bin then clicked on Start. After 5 seconds it comes back with a dialogue box titled STB Editor and message "The downloading is not requested". The Download box shows "Read REQ fail"
I've selected FTA Model and COM1.
Apologies if I'm being thick!

Hi MICKAH
It is the BIN file. I am running the DownTool_0927.exe on my laptop - I then select "Download" and click open and select the Kryptview19032009.BIN file and click Start that's when it fails. When you say "start the loader" I assume you mean DownTool_0927.exe or am I missing something?
