Note for "Disk Error" messages you only need to reformat player... flashing player voids most manufacturer warranties... Try this link here: http://www.chinagrabber.com/index.asp?Pa...ROD&ProdID=1331
If after you reformat player, you have less than you started with you bought a hacked player. Any serious mp4 seller will clearly state how many songs / movies can be downloaded on 4gb, 8gb of memory. i.e. 8gb holds 2000+ songs or 300 music videos...

Your 4gb is probably hacked to show it has a memory of 4gb.It's probably 1gb.Now have you put data over 1gb?If yes, then delete some data to allow memory for your videos(save them in case). If not format your player.Instructions can be found here.

Well you might not be able to find many sites as these formats aren't highly used by people posting videos. But if you go to this website you can get a few clips.
Try searching in google too. It's pretty useful.

Yeah well if you convert it to wma then it will still have same quality but smaller size too.So try that.If you still get format error then format your player. It's most likely that you have a hacked player.Instructions on how to format your player can be found here.

Help!!! I have an mp4 player I got for christmas. It's pretty nice. It's 2G's. The brand is TGE I guess. The problem before was I couldn't get videos on it. But after I read the manual it said the videos have to be in an smv format. Isn't that lame? So I found a program to convert it into smv. It narrows huge files down. Get this. I turned a 977 megabyte (avi) file into a 125 megabyte file (smv). Well I just had a new problem. For no reason. This error came up today "Error Reformat Internal media with sigmatel formatter". Well first I plugged it into my computer and tried to see if I can open anything. But it mad my computer freeze and then it said it was corrupted. So I tried to right click and it froze again and nothing happened. So then I searched the web and no one seems to know what "sigmatel formatter" is. I had a disk with my mp4 but thats to small for my computer. What do I do?

Try format your player again and then pout in the avi file.It could be that your player is hacked to show 4gb,so when you ut it over the limit of what it really is,it will show that error.

You can try download another converter from www.mympxplayer.org/dload.php
Just search for it.
I'll see what I can do about your other problem.

However, once I DO convert my files to .amv and try to put them on my player, it says that it doesn't support the file type. But that's the only type that DOES work, isn't it? It says to use Windows Media Player to convert it into a file that would work, but WMP doesn't recognise .amv files! I'm so confused. :( ...Can anyone help? lol

Once you convert the file all you have to do is send it to your player but not with WMP.Just right click the file and send it to your player.
