Sorry but there is no way to get your space back. The reason after you formatted your player that it was 400mb was because your player was hacked and wasn't actually 4gb in the first place.I know as I have been scammed as well.
Hope Everything Goes Well!

first for some reason MP4's dont work on an MP4 player!
So you download any format of video (mpg is what i usally get)
Then with the cd you got with the MP4 player it's probably called boot cd or somehting. There should be a converter on it install it on to your computer and convert your video's on them. The just copy and paste the finished amv or mtv file to your MP4.
If by any chance you have lost the cd or need more help on converting them so it comes out in the best uality as possible here is a website you can download it from and they tell you how to use it so your amv's or mtv's come out the best quality as possible.
http://www.mympxplayer.com/
scroll to the bottom and pick any of the AMV converter tools or the mtv converter tool . (I use amv converter tool 3.68 the most stable and best one)then when you click on iy read the description and then click on the instructions link if you want to get your video's to the best uality as possible.
Finally the difference between amv and mtv files is they are different formats usally they dont both work on an MP4 player. amv is better because the file size comes out smaller and better quality. Test out which one works on your MP4 player.
i no its a noobish thing to write a responce without reading all the pages but it seems theyve drifted off course anyway
my question is (yes i have the one ur talkin bout & its decent) do u no of a program that can convert whole avi movies (yours can only do episedes and stuff i think a full fledged movie is too much for it)

Can someone please help me I just bought a mp4 player ( ipod touch clone without the touch feature) and the sample video is fine but when i try to copy a movie file over it plays wierd, the frames are on the wong side one half of the fram that should be on the left is on the right and one half of the fram thats on the right should be on the left. Ive tried seeing if it was just that particular movie but it wasnt it does it with all of them. I'm currently using AVIconverter 2.0 that came with it and have tried using other programs but it just says invalid format when i try to play the movie. My email is ***email removed*** and if any can help please do.

Nabillion and Pareshdar,I think that you have incorrect firmware or corrupted firmware. Now I'm not saying this is the case but it could be.See this website for more help. You could look in the downloads, firmware section.

Hello.
I have an MP4 player from China. Cannot get it to play video files.
The sample files on it are AVI format. I have formatted the drive and upgraded the firmware. Everything works except for video. This is a 2.4" TFT player if that helps. I have downloaded convertors but every avi file typ that I convert to does not work, but the sample files do. How can I find out how to get files to the same avi format?

Try this converter and see if it works. If it doesn't then just post and I'll see what I can do.

Well it's most likely that your using the wrong format.Consult your manual and see what it says about the videos format. The most common one is amv if you can't find anything in the manaul or it didn't come with one, although you should find something.
