"how did it brick?" are you serious? >_> I installed it with the easy installer and targeted G: and then I moved the png file into psp\photo\hend or something like that,it flashed blue then green then it just went black. so i restarted it. no sound when i turned it on and screen was black,just LED at green.

just wonderin coz i read elsewhere to hit the "brightness button" only if u hear the sound but i guess thats not ur case since u heard no sound then.

I've heard that i had to have usb cable plugged in at all times AND if i get a red screen (did once) to not turn off until 30 secs has passed....

Yep, last time i tried to return a game they immediately replaced it without asking questions..... I hope the psp returning will work like that :D most of em though are just people trying to get it over with and get their money....ive saw it before :D

How to update 3.02 OE-A to 3.02 OE-B
1. Download and decompress 3.02 OE-B
2. Copy the directory OEB_UPDATE to /PSP/GAME150/
3. On your PSP, run the 3.02 OE-B Update program. It won't take long to update, and should finish within 10 seconds

ok i installed this to my PSP, but everytime go to PHOTOS and click on HEND (2images) and it shows RAND, my psp turns BLUE SCREEN and shuts off and never comes back on, i have to manually turn it on, on my other PSP this worked before, but i just got this TODAY because my other one had deadpixels so i returned it and got this one, and its not working on this, i have a 2.71 TA-082 PLEASE HELP

hihi
if my psp has no number on the right inside the umd drive but theres one on the left but cant tell what it says does this mean my psp is not a ta-082 but still capatible with this guide without BRICKING MY PSP ?? :)
My psp had internal error and never could use wireless connection,called sony day before warranty NEW ONE IN THE MAIL BOX IN 7 DAYS ^^

if the guide is called [GUIDE] 2.7 TA-082 to 1.5 to 3.02OE, im pretty sure its for ta-082s only...search for 2.71 generic downgrader by dark_alex and use that if you dont have a ta-082.

hey...ok i got the easy downgrader....followed the steps.... i got PSP Update ver X.YZ. ran that....got the battery should be at least 75% screen....and then my PSP just restarted.... any help??

well of half of the question is my psp a ta-082? with no code on the right said in umd drive cuz the pic shows that "No Code" is capatalbe

does this 3.02oe-e have a recoverer? coz kealvalro has one but unfortunately the link that he gave doesn't exist anymore so i'm stuck at 1.5.. now i don't know what to do.. and i wanted to go for the recoverer coz just in case my psp semi-bricks.. :)

Hey all. Ive just downgraded my psp, and it work, but not fine.
Its slow VERY slow, each time I press a button it takes about one minute, before it change screen, even if I just use the left/right arrow to get to another menu. Any suggestions?
