Hi..
Having a problem here..After downgrading my psp ta082mobo to 1.5 and upgrading it to 3.02 oeA , i had gone ahead to format my memory stick but now when i am going on to upgrade it to 3.02OEB the files keep appearing as corrupted data..Any help available?

what file? the 3.03 OE-A update is appearing as corrupt data? just re make the DATA.DAXR file.

Quick question;
I'm not 100% sure that I have a TA-082 mobo. I *think* it is, owing to the experiences I've had trying the normal methods of downgrading.
My question is, will this method brick my PSP if I'm not the owner of a TA-082?
Also, thanks for the quide. It's one of the easiest I've found to follow.

just check if its a ta-82 if you see some number on the right side when u opened the umd icoo3 its a ta 82

Are there any 082's without this number printed?. It isn't present on my motherboard but everything I've tried to downgrade using non-TA-082 methods have failed.

soryr guys .. kinda lost here ..
i've downgrade 2.71 > 1.5 then upgrade 1.5 to 3.02OEB .. am i able to format my memory stick now ? cuz inside the "System Information" (inside my psp) it says there , System Software : 3.02 OE-B ..
or is there anymore updates for me to upgrade ?
cuz formatting my memorystick now, is it gonna turn my psp back to 1.5 or 2.71 ?
i have a ta-082 mobo .. thanks !

Does anyone have a link to install devhook on a 1.5 ta 82?
1st psp 1.5>2.0>2.5>2.71>2.81(sony sucks balls)
2nd psp 2.60>2.71 ta82>devhook .51 emulating 3.02

Excessive noob question alert!
I downloaded the EBOOT_1.50.zip file, it says to rename it 150.PBP.
My question is, do I need to rename the archive (the actual .zip file) or do I extract the eboot file in it then rename the eboot.pbp file to 150.pbp?
Sorry if this is really noobish but I literally just got my psp a few minutes ago (its already FW 2.71).

Extract and rename, did you check if it was TA-082?

Ok, was able to downgrade my psp to 1.5 easily. Now my question is this, I read that I need to format my MS the first time after having downgraded to 1.5, and then a second time once I upgraded to 3.03 OE-B, is that correct?
I want to double check this part since it's not written in the original post.

Reformat you MS stick just for a safe downgrade and upgrade thats all.
And the point of upgrading from 1.5 to custom FW, is that you don't need to run Devhook to play ISOs, just pop the MS in and open it on Games and your good to go, also the custom FW has everything the actually 3.03 FW has, so visual player and internet. Also you can play PSone games on your psp without buying a PS3 and buying them off the sony store or something.
