Thanks though
Since you chose option 4, you have installed the ability to :-
Flash to 3.71.
Flash to 3.71M33.
Do a dangerous nand dump.
I actually have no clue which option is which, but I'll find out, and tell you what to press (X,O,[],/\)
Well, I got X for 3.71M33...
If pressing X leads you to 3.71 again, borrow a friend's PSP who is FAT, and check which option is which on the screen. It's too dangerous to choose other buttons, as your PSP doesn't show the starting screen, and your options has been altered in some way. If you don't have a friend with a FAT PSP, re-install option 4 and try again.

Ok, so I bought the Tool Battery, and created the files for the Memory Stick Pro. I have the PSP Slim and I have tried all sorts of key combinations on inserting the Tool battery and all I get is the black screen and green power light.
I used option 3 with the installer.
Is there something I am missing or is there a problem with my Tool Battery?
All help welcome.

You should choose option 4 for your Slim.
The screen will be blank anyway - that's absolutely normal. Once you've installed option #4 on your mms, put the mms and TOOL battery into your Slim.
Then, when the lights stop flashing:
press down TWICE slowly, then press X. Then wait while pandora does its magic. ;)

So if I am reading this correctly, When I use the Memory stick and the battery on an unmodded PSP Slim. I should just put in the memory stick, then the battery and the let it sit? When will the lights start flashing (how long)? All I currently see is the green power light when I insert the battery.
Thanks for the info

I've had a little discussion with my friend (Marlino23) and we decided that you should get the Tool Battery. I wouldn't touch your battery if it's unknown... It's easier if you get the Tool Battery because there's no need of pin removing, and no spare battery needed.

Can anyone help me out. I followed the guide exactly likely what it said on the guide, except the batter. I did buy the Datel Battery from this site http://www.gp2xstore.com/Datel_Battery_S...ttery_p/049.htm
but when i try to load it with the battery. The power just stay green and nothing happen. I have tried different sites or forums to make it work because I thought I was doing their guide wrong and when I saw this guide, this was probably the Easiest way to format a pandora magic memory. However I cant get it to work can anyone help me out. As a side note, I currently have version 3.80 as my firmware.

Press X on the blank screen, and if the memory stick light flashes for more than 5 seconds, wait until it stops flashing. DO NOT TURN IT OFF! If it doesn't flash at all, re-install the firmware to your PSP. Which option did you choose?

Have you got the memory stick inserted?
Are you using it with a PSP slim&lite version?
Have you followed all the steps correctly?
