Hey guys i am having so much trouble with this. Whenever I try to put a file in my cellphone is says unable to connect to device. Everything is fine though. Everything is connected correctly and all that stuff. Could someone help me please? If you know how to fix this would you email me the solution cause I don't get on this forum that much. Thanks. hey does any one know how to install the V3 progarm on my PC cuz it wont picl up the modem can any one HELP ME!!!

am new here and confused. have MPT 3.40. installed correctly, on function panel everything highlites but the one with the little bell, music symbol and painters pallette. am assuming this tab is for ringtones, etc. cant get on this tab.
tried to use multimedia studio to put ringtones on my phone but when i get to the "save as" screen i only have "Save as .mpr file" type, not mp3. also where is this transfer button everyone keeps talking about? also, i read farther back in this thread that after initializing, the phone on my computor will change to a picture of my phone?
long story short, how do i get this damn prog to work?!!!!
one more funny thing, when my phone was added thru hardware wiz, it said "found new hardware...Moto c450"...i have a c350.

hi.
is there another software, apart from MMPT that can retrieve SMS to my winxp PC?
i can read my phone perfectly, up and dload tones, and stuff, but i cannot retrieve my SMS.
have tried turning it off/on, reinstalling MMPT3, and various other tricks, but so far, nothing.
any ideas please?

I just got MPT 3.23 on eBay and updated to 3.25b after running the Live Update. It works great. [advertising removed]

Hi guys !
I am new to this forum,
I just bought a motorola L6,
I need to connect /sync my phone with my computer,
I already have a USB data cable,
but when i connect the phone, it displays Motorola L6 found and it needs driver for it, but i don't know what to do next!!!
I am downloading motorola phone tools v3.40 retail software for it,
i just need to know that do i need only this software to connect my phone with pc or something else.

How are some folks updating to MPT 3.40? When I do an update, it says mine is up to date, but I have version 3.28?

If MPT comes with audio editing tools and tools to upload mp3's to your phone, why is it necessary to go out to other editing tools to compress resample etc.
Shouldn't you be able to do it all inside of MPT?

Help with Outlook sync please ....
I have an e815 and just bought MPT 3.0 from motorola (already had a usb cable). loaded software and did live update for latest...3.28 and then launched it and it's been in "please wait" mode for 35 minutes.
All I want to do is get my Outlook contacts in there and the Phone Book and Phone book sync are both grayed out on the application.
anyone know what gives?

I'm kinda lost here, my phone is e815 and MPT 3.28, but it seems I could not lauch mobile explorer. I can see my phonebook, calendar, etc but not mobile explorer...Is there anything else I missed??..btw I have updated it..

Okay..I am using E815 and MPT 3.28 and win xp...and I've change the modem config for E815m phone for getting the mobile explorer..
I can launch the mobile explorer, but after that modem management disconected and I couldn't even see the files/picture,etc at the my phone windows....is there any other config that i should do so I could use the mobile explorer??

hi!
i am having so many issues with mobile phone tools...it does all the setting up but never finshes initalizing! it fails to read the connections but it connected to my comp! so annoying...if anyone knows why this is happening please tell me...

Ok the latest news is the Verizon V3C CDMA RAZR has been released. It seems everyone has been downloading a version of MPT that needs to be updated for their RAZRs to work. Whomever makes the MPT software noticed a spike in the Live Update and in the latest version they decided to disable the Multimedia botton to those who have updated with the illegal version of MPT.
Now for those of us who are experiencing this problem we either need a clean version of MPT 3.28 thats fully operational (that's not yet posted) with the RAZR V3C and/or we need a crack from the current version that is disabling the Multimedia function. Whoever comes up with a solution please let us know! Thank you.

Hey guys, I just installed mpt 3.23 and ran live update, it downloaded 3.25r or b, but it gave an error and won't install the update.. says..
self registration error
unable to decompress a file. an internal error occurred. contact customer support.
Anyone have any idea what is going on there?

any usb -> mini usb cable works with the V3C. It's very versatile! My mp3 player and digital camera use the same cable. You might have one around the house already.
