Ok....my next problem....lol I have p2k installed and it says it's connected but when i try to update list i keep getting a "volume name fail" message....Anyone have any idea's on what i'm doing wrong?

I installed v3.11 but it doesn't recognize my v635 is it because my phone is newer than that version? Does anyone know what the latest version is?

spend hald day, but found what I was looking for on http://www.free.cz/motorola/ after that I updated files and latest version of MPT I think is 3.25b . Thanks guys

Ok well I went through several scenarios in trying to update to at least 3.19e since thats the version that supports my V635. But I tried all the update options from the menus in all the versions that I've tried from 1.23 and on, but they all open up Internet Explorer and go to their page to purchase it. I guess I gotta give in?
Those of you who got it off of P2P, what was the filename?

Motodude is telling in this thread, that mobile Phone Tools works with Windows 98. But...everywhere in bvrp.com (official site Phone Tools) is mentionned that it works as from Windows 98SE, and not 98. I saked their Technical support, they confirm.
Actually I am trying to make it work with Windows 98, because Motodud gave me hope. I could install the soft, the updates, the USB modem, everything, but it is "initializing" eternaly.
On my other PC, which has Windows XP, it works perfectly with the same phone (MOtorola V220).

Hi everybody, I have 3 problems that have recently arised. one i have a mp3 file on my phone that i just can't delete. and second my mobile phonetools won't let me put stuff on my phone (the access to my phone keep on getting denied). lastly, there is a file on my phone that i recently upload with p2k and i can't find it anywhere even though it is taking up a lot memory on my phone, how can i find it and delete it?. Thank you in advance and i would appreciate any help that is offered. Have a good day everyone.

If p2kman or phone tools don't work properly for you, try motokit it's a lot easier to use. Also what is the file you can't find?

The phonetools is saying that the problem is with my phone not with the phonetools itself. a message shows up saying that the phone is forbidding the action. any ideas? and the file that i can't find to delete is an mp3 clip. Thank you for any help you can offer. Bye

HI Motodude,
Thanks a lot. I was able to install 3.23 MPT. I have V710 Phone. I cannot able to transfer and files and mp3 ringtones.
Actually I am not able to open the Multimedia Studio from Phonetools.
I have not installed the p2k driver however, I have got installed driver for Motorola usb cable.
Please assist me to get Multimedia studio on V710.

Am I stupid?
I have a motorola v220, a usb camera cable and have read all the threads, downloaded,(or tried to download) the various links, with no luck. Dont seem to be able to open the pages from the links, or download but cant install etc etc
Can anyone help me please?

I got the Phone tools to work, but I can't get my V551 to act as a modem and connect or dial a Freenet or alternate ISP. Any ideas?

now, even though the file downloaded says 3.23, it is really 3.11h and has everything and is the full deal...just go to the menu and run "live update" and it will find the real version 3.23 and download it from motorola (BVRP) directly and install it for you (around 10mb) ...then you are all set!!
