the emulators are for the PS2 so if one were to be loading them onto a HD it would be the PS2 hard-drive. i, however, do not have a hard-drive on my PS2.

http://www.zophar.net/consoles/ps2.html Zophar has direct-download links hosted on its own server. If you ever have an emulation question or need, they'll provide it to you. Well, everything except ROMs.

1) what do you use to transfer emulators from your computer to your PS2 hard drive?
2) a. Do you have to put the hd from the PS2 into the comp?
b. Do you need to switch the hd to master or slave or what when you put it in the comp?
3) Can you just use like hd loader to access and play the games off the PS2 hard drive?

i wanted to help keep this thread alive because i wanted to help spread the word to others about emulators. they are really something that not many people take advantage of but really should. why not multipupose your machine?
as for the neogeo emulator check it out here: http://neocd.ps2-scene.org/
the gameboy adavanced emulator is in the works as we speak (around 78% done) but should be done within a few weeks, ill post a link when its released.
on a seperate note, that link left by RemyK313 is a pretty good one, has lots of emulators for download, check it out: http://www.zophar.net/consoles/ps2.html

Thats what i was wondering too, everybody was talking about it, but nobody gives a URL! lol, :) Biggest thing that could happen to PS2 when it comes to emulation business is having a N64EMULATOR, Some 3D Capable console emulator, ( Not the XBOX heh ) lol,

there is no GBA emulator available yet, its in the works right now... there is nothing you can download yet. as for the N64, there wont be one in the near future. if old school basic systems arent running perfectly yet then more advanced systems are going to be hard to do. there is an emulator for the xbox of N64, but one for the PS2 looks bleek. of course, there are programmers every day working on this stuff, so maybe its not as far of a cry as it may seem

depends on the emulator (of course) but they are very small... usually not more than a few MB each. the roms are also usually very small. its not unheard of to burn close to 100 roms to a disk with some emulators. think about the technology they had in the past, they didnt have the ability to store gigs of information.
as for the HD question, i cant help you there. but someone who knows about PS2 harddrives, please help him.
