I doubt it. Is this game a rental or something? I've course I've never backed up a rental *cough* but I've heard from people who have that a certain chain whose initial's are BB have protective coverings on the top of there games. Do you mean on the top cover, or the bottom part of the game where the PS2 laser reads?

Well, I finally got Rugby League 2, all I have to do now is burn a few movies to clear up my HDD space and I'll burn RL2! I'll edit back in a few.

It was a sticker on the actual cd on the top saying that the sticker will show evidece for internal tampering.

Nope, didn't work for me either. I burned it on a Taiyo Yuden at 2X, the rest is in my sig. BTW, I was able to get the PAL version, so I have no idea how the NTSC version would work, didn't see it anywhere. I bet DVDRick is workin on a patch as we speak, so hpoefully he'll have some success.

I didnt realise there was an NTSC version. I thought they only released this game in the EU and Australasia.

ea sports have announced price drops of current gen games,
ubisoft dropped their prices last week. it a matter of time before
RL2 is $50 or $30.
until someone that understands the stucture of PS2 games looks
at it, it wont be cracked.
logic i live by, if a game is worth playing then its worth buying.
if a game isn't worth playing, then is it worth copying?.

To many of us, it doesn't matter if WE like the game, it's the joy of being able up make a backup one way or another for the people that do like the game.

I agree that some games are worth buying. In the real world, people don't have $50 to throw down on every game they want. That's just life. Collecting games and backing up DVD's is my hobby. I like backing up discs whether I intend to Watch or play them at all.

heh me too.
I don't even care about playing this game, it's not much better than the first and even though I'm Australian I prefer playing Madden 06 to the RL games.
It does however annoy me that I can't back this one up though.
It's more the worry of more games coming out with this kind of protection. I'm sure this one will be figured out eventually, but if all games start to come out with it, it's gonna be a real bugger to back-up games in the future.

But hasn't there been other torrents that say 'cracked' and they're not?
There's also another torrent out that was released less than 24hrs ago.
