Sorry wasnt overlooking you, if you have a Max V just look at the very first page of this thread and follow SG8's guide to update your box and it will auto update for you. If you have another model just post back and we will help you out.

nice one, i have a max v. is it just the null cable i need then? Ive a laptop, would the usb connecter be better?

If your laptop has no 9 pinport then you will need BOTH the NULL MODEM CABLE and USB Adapter

Hi guys.
I am totally PC illiterate. I have tried downloading a lot of firmware tnite unsuccessful on all counts. My problem being I have a eurovox max 2007 and can't seem to find a version to match anywhere. The 2.10 version for eurovox max v is just saying that the firmware is not fit for my receiver along with a few others that I've tried. Please if anyone can help. Have tried searches on internet also. Thanks

thats usually the red box check the tuner(rf in) if it measures back 8 notches its red if it measures 12 its blue check and see if its a clone first and then ill point you in the right direction http://www.freewebs.com/dooby2oon/

I'm not entirely sure what u mean. If u mean the notches inside the (rf in) connection then there is ten. I'm sorry about this stupidity. You can probeably picture me turning the box upside down and trying to figure it out. Well, you'd b correct.

Okay. Have turned the box inside out upside down and from the info on the link supplied it looks to be a genuine blue box. Sorry for all the confusion. would be great if u have any info on updating the firmware

you will have to be 100% certain its genuine otherwise the wrong firmware will kill your box.

It's dead nyway. Non existent channels. stuff we're not now supposed to mention according to new rules. Checked the inside of the front of the box and they are silver (eg vol buttons etc) according to genuine image and also letting(ref.) on back is in light typing as opposed to bold

ok if its a genuine blue and your 100% sure here is the latest firmware if you are not sure how to load it check back to page 1 on this thread its the same procedure for all eurovoxs http://www.4shared.com/account/file/4497...E_21_04_08.html

There is a blank table with a progress bar underneath stuck to 8% and an option to do the powerscan again (which wont actually do anything).
Easily fixed - Go to http://eko.4shared.com and go to "Eurovox", "Firmware" and download "28_04_08T" (or something to that effect) and flash as normal. This is a fix for precisely your problem. Good luck!
That didnt work. I still have the same 8% problem as before. Anyone any ideas?

Hi all,Im new with this not sure if ive posted right (Sorry). having problems loading latest firmware for blue box i get to step three when downloading Kuro and a message appears on screen saying ''Firmware not fit for your reciever''.
It is definatly a blue box as ive checked though the previous threads and opened it up. I have followed HiTechs advise which he gave Arny321 but still no joy. This is the third blue box i have done and only have had problems with this one. Can anyone please help???

If yours is a real blue box the firmware under my sig will work for yours, (Click on the blue firmware), If it does not work and it says "the firmware is not fit for your reciever" then you do not have a blue box. So as tempo says check the link under his sig to find out whether yours is a clone or another box.
