haha.. sc0user you've obviously seen me post on another forum!! Got to poole all resources when you have a kid making your ears bleed with all their moaning about not having disney channel!... i just want it back for the football tomorrow or i'll spend a fortune in the pub!

yep sc0user i did, well i did it yesterday i think, may try it again later and scan on the correct symbol rate this time to see if anything happens, if not what are the chances of getting a cdf of a friends box to put on mine and it working?

I see as per HiTeck's post you need to scan on the correct symbol rate, that is probably where it has gone wrong if you used 6887 instead of 6952.
Regards a CDF from your friends box, yep as long as they are in the same area and same provider it will work fine. But try as per the correct symbol rate first.

Cheers... scanning with the update from 28th at the correct symbol rate so see if that works, if not its waiting for next door to get back so i can get their channel file!

sc0user... is there any reason why the update from 28/04 which fixes the 8% signal problem should only being allowing me an 8% signal??? haha not having much luck!!

Hi there can anyone help me. I am a newbie so all help would be most appreciated. I have had my eurovox max v 2008 for 3 months and all has been fine, just recently the picture has been breaking up then going off altogether. I have now done a full power scan, but now i just get UNKNOWN SERVICE OR NO SIGNAL on the screen. I am on Vi**in and live in wolverhampton (west midlands),i have the latest kuro software already installed, please please help me out, bored and desperate with no tv. Many thanks.

Im another newbie. Trying to update a genuine eurovox max v- black colour. Got as far as step 4. The program says "Version 2.00 detected" instead of version 2.10. Dont know whether to keep going. The box is about 4 months old. Config is as follows;
Model DVB-XC Box V TDA
S/W Ver: 1.0 STC4 Sept 06 2007
H/W Ver: 2.0t K5
Bootstrap: V001
I'd be grateful for some help!

Have you tryed the new firmware 28/04/08 which helps people with the 8% signal problem, It may help you, Other than that providing your feed is ok I wouldnt know of any other fix, Others on hre may but id give this a try.

hi guys/girls im goin to try and download the software for the eurobox 2008...how do i no if its a red .blue or black box?????and what softwer do i use ?? can u help as i dont no really what im doin lol

Try describing the box to us,
Is it all black with silver buttons or is it black with a silver face,

Hi again,
Continued on as you advised. Made it to step 11 without a problem. However it is now stuck at 8% Quality on the full power scan. Any suggestions??
