get them to check the settings in the menu it should be on pal and also try changing the setting from cvbs to rgb or vice versa

also make sure he is not using a splitter kit on his incoming connection as if the signal is week this will happen

also that he is not using another connection from the loop out on the bottom as that is not another connection to feed another tv
Did a factory reset then auto search as kwall99 said,no joy.did as you asked above fergusrb still no joy.Went through all the above procedures again and still no luck.Rechecked all cables every thing ok.decided to try one last time, did factory reset and autoscan and hey PRESTO! IT WORKED,A little patients some times goes a longgggggggg way. Thanks fergus and kwall99

anyone else who switched to kryptview from eurovox miss knowing whats currently on the 15 stations each page you've sorted when you press OK? amongst other GUI differences..

knew i'd find it hard changing from the eurovox. may have to connect both devices n only switch to KV for movies/sport. which is inconvenient but i really miss the eurovox interface that much!

With some help I amready to go but when I did a channel search I only ended up getting about eight channels.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

only found about 8 or only about 8 are decrypted?
factory reset, scan again and make sure you pick the ntl legacy option.
If your on NTL mmds you have to manually scan each transponder

PLEASE DONT PM ME FOR KEYS!

To manually enter keys if they roll and the box doesn?t update.

Scroll to your provider THEN across to the related keys.

Press OK to edit the keys?.use the little arrow on the screen to move to the right of 00,

enter new keys and save.

Do the same on the second line use the little arrow on the screen to move to the right of 01,

enter new keys and save

Fergus, is there a standard cable code/name for the USB to Com cable and/or a link to where it can be purchased in Ireland or the UK? Is this the right cable? http://www.cables.ie/computer-cables/usb...ter-rs-232.html

Give it a flash Jack. <- Get it???

That looks like the Serial to USB adaptor, but you will need a Null Modem cable as well

http://cgi.ebay.ie/Null-Modem-Cable-9-pi...A1%7C240%3A1318

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??
