Hi all got a kryptview a750 tried everything i found on all forums but cannott get box to flash i tried two different pcs different rs 232 null cables every fix i could find but keep getting download not requested Ive tried all advise everything looks fine with regard to ports i have comm port which worked for my starview and biught a usb to null but nothing works i have come across a thread that an avg anti virus update will not allow the ports to flash boxes any ideas or fixes.???

turn off the box at the back get the loader and the file ready press download and the switch the box on at the back thats it and let it flash

tried it 50 times with the switch at the back of the box turned off and the file on the loader
then press the download button then switch the box on at the back switch or what ??
also have you checked which comport you are using on your pc as by default the loader uses com 1 check that

honestly ferguserb Ive done the lot i have flashed boxes bfore but im convinced its avg virus guard blocking the comm ports any ideas how to correct.?
goin to bed im up at 5am talk tomoro if ure avilable.

uninstall the avg but before you do download avast and then go off line get rid of avg and install avast
then back on line update the antivirus and then try
or else failing this borrow a pc

OK have my box flashed and have all the channels! Hope it lasts. Quick question though, the channel order is all messed up. Does anyone know a quick way to order them or have a channel dump for Waterford?

channel dumps wont work as movement of channels happen ,u can save to favourites even a-z option.

A friend of mine recently bought the arnet,it,s up and running since last friday.He is haveing a problem with the picture,sometimes it freezes.It also vibrates very rapidly[up and down]quiet a lot.He has checked all leads and connections,there are no splitters involved.He lives in dublin.Ive checked other threads and cant find any solutions to this problem.many thanks

I'd say that could be it, I had a similar problem before where the COM1 port could not be opened this is probaly whats happening to erockluap when using the straight rs-232 cable, In my case I had Nokia and Blackberry software on my laptop which I removed and then disabled all internal modems in device manager. This done the trick for me good luck

Yes,as far as im aware he did.I will check later,Presuming he did, what else might the problem be.

get them to check the settings in the menu it should be on pal and also try changing the setting from cvbs to rgb or vice versa
also make sure he is not using a splitter kit on his incoming connection as if the signal is week this will happen
also that he is not using another connection from the loop out on the bottom as that is not another connection to feed another tv

I'm getting requests from Ch*rus/nthell to insert my new card and text back 'done'. i just installed the kryptview on the mmds system. Should i put the card in the old nthell box or will it effect me at all?

Hi again fergus tried unenstalling avg no joy also got a friends laptop with macafee still getting same the downloading not requested just about ready to pull my hair out.??
