k lets talk about the ps3 contoller. i looke it up and examined it closely. then closed my eyes and imagined it in my hard and tests every detail. it seems pretty comfortable. the shape is nice so if you have big hands you can slide down some, and if you are asian you can hold higher. the triggers are in the perfect stop for this. and the other stuff is too. people are all "omg it looks like a boomerang and thats stupid." but come on who didnt enjoy boomerangs as a kid? plus whats really wrong with one? ps3 is a convex styled system so it blends. it looks nice and futuristic. i like it in most aspects.

I think people have to stop judging the PS3 controler on it's looks. Remember its not the looks that count but how well it performs (sounds like i am talking about somthing else, lol). Anyway I think the PS3 controler will be very comfortabe and good to use just like the 360 controler. The only controler i am a bit sceptical about is the Revolution's.

I'm not even going to waste my money on the Revolution, anyways the PS3 controller isn't bad, wish they would of maybe found a different stuyle though.

I think the style is ok, and the ergonomics of the controller beat the 360's controller despite how it looks like.
the ps3 controloer is more confterble ergonomically that the ps2 dualshock.
To me the ps2 controller was better than the xbox xontroller. The xbox controller was big and bulky, and the l and r buttons werent that comfterble to press. I,ts like you were pushing the buuttens towards you, not down. the 360 controller is like the same as the xbox controller, but it has some differences. You got to wait though and see which controller is best suited for you at the end.

god zelda and kookoo you are in almost any forum i am.
anyways i would like to state my dislike of the revolution control. while you can download any game nitendo ever had, the control will prevent me from getting it. its like a remote that you have to hold all funny, plus the contol stick is an attactment. this is gay and they need to rethink it

Yea, but we dont know its ergonoics, one thing i despise about it is what if you are left handed? Wouldnt left hand people find it hard to controll the remote with there right hand? i dont know cause im right handed but, i think it would be like writing with the right hand for them.

heh, i am left handed. i hate it somedays cuz when i write alot, my hand gets lot of pencil led on it, but its a great excuse to get out of class to wash my hands.
i think it would be difficult to re-corrodinate myself with the stick in the right hand, considering im left handed and i am used to the n64 and it being in my right hand. maybe you can swap the sides and use either in either hand.
over all, the ps3 controller has mos of my support. i really like the convex and outward growinglook and feel of the ps3, its enlightning. and i dislike the concave and receding look and feel of the 360, its depressing.

The PS3 controler seems interesting and looks like it could be a comfortable controler. We will have to see what it's like when it comes out. The dislikes I have about the PS3 controler are those analog sticks and no indication to what controler is what but as I said before Sony will hopefully rectafie these problems when Sony reviels all in January.
As for the 360 controler, how can you posibly say it's similar to the origional xbox controler. Maybe the xbox controler S but not the origional. The xbox controler S was a well made controler with a good design, what M$ have done is take that design and improve on it. I must say they have done a good job and so far its the best controler I have ever placed my hands on.

what do you mean you dislike the analog sticks? they are symmetrical therefore being more
comfortable and sustaining to the mind over time. i hate having my thumbs off-center with
the xbox controller. symmetry pwnz and i cant see why you dislike it. maybe are you an only
xbox use and are used to it and since you like microshaft you fear change.

Ha ha, no. I think it is you that is the one that fears change. If I feared change like you suggest then why did I buy a Megadrive as my first console then a PSX as my second console then a PS2 as my third console but then was bought a xbox as a surprise. Then I was going to buy a PS3 until about September when I saw more details on the consoles from the Tokyo game show and did my homework to which I then found 360 to be the better choice.
Going back to the controler. Just too make you feel stupid for jumping to conclusions like you did, when I mentioned the analog joystick I wasnt talking about the positioning. I was talking about the joystick it self. it's the same anolog joystick as the one on the duel shock which was good for it's time but looks a bit naff on the new controler plus like I said it was good back then but the convex design with the grey rubber isnt as good as the 360 or game cube.

i dont like the divet pool like thing on the xbox controls, a thumb does not fit right in it. its unconfortable. the rounderness of the ps versions are mor comfortable and easy to use. ps ppl dont need to have mammoth hands to use a controler.

You must be a PS fan boy. I dont dislike the PS3 pad i thought it was good. What do you mean mammoth hands? If your refering to the origional xbox pad then may be but if your talking about the 360 pad have you seen it and used it yet? If you have you will know its around the same size as the duel shock.
Anyway back to the point I think those sticks are a bit out of date. The tumb doesnt fit aswell as the 360 anaolg sticks and the dull grey rubber doesnt match with the controler. I really hope they change them and place some kind of indaction system to them so players will know what controler thay are ment to have. I am sure Sony will fix these issue's by January.

The old xbox controller I found comfortable and I don't have mammoth hands but regular man size hands. Now the old controler I can see how some pple find it awkward but if you find that you need mammoth hands for the 360 controler then you must have the hands the size of an oompa loompa.

LOL, not ergonomically dude. i've held the 360 controller today, i ddint find it that much confterble than the xbox controller.xbox360 controller may look good, but the ps3 controller is ergonomically better.

No its not, what are you talking about, the dual shock is smaller, way smaller than the 360 controller.

I have an xbox 360 contorler with me today at home and I have a PS2 with me right now. I wouldnt have posted the statement if it wasnt true. I actualy layed the Duel Shock on the bed along with the 360 controler.
I can see how you persieve the Duel shock to be smaller becuase of its shape. The thin plasic in the middle with the handles pointing down at a angle make you percieve it as smaller controler but in truth it isnt.
The 360 conroler has a slightly fatter centre with the handles at a more straight level which makes you percieve it as a large controler.
Any way getting back to the point I think you have somthing against the 360. The contoler is very comfortable and thats not just my view its all the top game site reviews and my hands arnt abnormal and it fits very comfortable. Even my little brother finds it very comfortable, how can you not?
The thing is although it may seem at times that I dont like the PS3 I do, the console I have always hated are the Nintendo one's. PS3 is a very good console and like I said its controler seems very comfortable. But then you have your PS fans who have a narrow vision on things and think everything is rubbish even though they dont give it a chance.

well bein fair n all, does it matter wot the 360 or ps3 looks like? same for controllers, as long as they match the consol n feel gd t hold and they perform well (no dodgy jokes) wot else matters?
how many of us own 2 consoles neways? i've gc, xbox n a ps2, n il probly end up gettin all the next gen consoles too, eventually because of the price.. lol
then again sayin that im undecided about the revolution, i think its a bit too forward for our time, they are home entertainment consoles ent they? so y the weird spit controller thing they got going on?

Why do this Kookoo67. Why?
You know full well the 360 contoler is a good little contoler that does the job very well. Just like I know the PS3 controler seems like it will be comfortable controler despite what people say about its boomerang appearance.

Did i say the controller is bad?
I just said that the ps3 controller has great ergonomics. Better than the dual shock, and is goign to be better than xbox360 based on ergonomics.
