Well most would agree no matter which of the systems that they like, if the xbox 360 had released at the same time as the ps3 it would be a waist of money and marketing for microsoft. They were smart to release first. Great marketing stratedgy to try and win over some PS3 fans who are impatiently waiting for the ps3 and decide to go ahead and get a xbox360. But i agree they should not have released the xbox 360 without the HD-DVD.

anubis i do not need hardware to tell me if the xbox 360 is next gen, after seeing rockstars ping pong game which looks absoluely amazing and chromehounds from sega which also looks like a next gen leap from mech assult. i am looking forward to talking to you anubis, when the ps3 releases and asking you what the point of all that next gen hardware is when you can not produce anything better than xbox 360 which is apparently "lacking anything that truly feels "next gen.""

in the ps3 corner we have:
wi-fi built-in=next gen
bluray=next gen
xdr ram=next gen
bluetooth=next gen
cell processor=next gen
new online service with more features to be than xbox live=next gen
insane graphics based off the new 7900 core=next gen

in the xtrabucks 3shitty corner we have:
decent graphics but nothing too insane=next gen-ish
revisions including arcade and marketplace=next gen
dvd drive=current gen
multi-core x86 processor=current gen
gddr3 shared ram=current gen (sharing graphicsram with cpu is not smart but cheap and slow)

so who seems more next generation here? i wonder.

and i played the 360 again the other day. i got soooooo po'ed it wasnt funny. the load times on madden 06 and CoD are omg awful.

lets see, what is better here?

ok firstly i am not gay, also i think we are starting to see the stupid side of you, not just the sony fanboy like normal.

ok, i know what you mean by hard ware, but like i said before, the main reason to buy a console is for its games, so if the graphics of both the conosles are the same then anything extra like bluray is just something for you to enjoy on top of the games. also keeping in mind that having all this next gen hardware means you have to pay for it too.

now before you say the graphics of the xbox 360 are crap, well they are not. maybe the launch games were pretty crappy, but games like ghost recon and oblivion show a slight taster of what has to come, and i know it gets better, just by looking at the ping pong game by rockstar.

so anubis stop acting like we just met, with your whole the launch games are so crap, b/c i know this.
