I will be glad when it does come out(hopefully before 2012) so I can gauge my 360 by something other than my Xbox and Ps2. Right now sony seems to be giving alot of misinformation to keep everyone talking about the system that is in limbo.

I can't wait for March 22 because I've heard that Sony's going to be telling us some information on the PS3.

issnt limbo the top level of hell? how is the ps3 in hell? usually when you say somethin is in limbo means they died but were not up to standars of being in heaven, but went particularly bad.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

from what I have seen and heard it may be pushed back until summer in Japan and Thanksgiving here due to all specs not being released yet and costs maybe being a little higher for Sony. I hope not. Im hoping summer at latest in US since no one ever put games out in summer. That would be sweet.

Idiom: in limbo
In a state of uncertainty or waiting.
Your using the religous definition of the word. I'm not .

i used the one from urban dictionary. urban dictionary has nothing for the phrase in limbo.
your version is derived from the original which you are there unharmed doing nothing really
pointful.

I think that describes the Ps3 to a "t". It's in Limbo just like I said. Sony is the one that everyone should direct all hostilities to, because they are the reason for all the lies not us Xbox owners and Playstation owners. I would like to see the Ps3 because i will buy one in the future but if sony keeps jerking everyone auround there might not be as many buyers. We might as well go reserve our P4,and P5s we have plenty of time, or we could go buy an Xbox 360 and be Happy.

i think they are doing it to stir up susption and to have everyone talking about it so they dont get into the 360. they also dont release a release date better than spring cuz if their is a delay they will look like asses and if there issnt then it will make them look stupid.

You may be right...who knows maybe we are giving sony to much credit. Either way the only people who know aren't talking, thus thats where all the rumors come in. Its called a rumor mill and it will get worse before we find out the truth. I'm not buying one until next year ,I'm spending my P3 money on AVR Receiver Yamaha 5890.

You are pulling my leg...right? Well if your not it is the Hub for all A/V in a home theater system. Controls your speakers and sub and video conversion. There is no home theater without it.Same thing as your PC without the tower there is no brains to run everything.

oh i know what those are, we have one. we just call it the stereo. no one has ever refered to it as an avr around me in my entire life, either at home or at friends.

You can get some nice setups for a reasonable amount. I buy all my stuff ala carte and try to drive my other half nuts or deaf. Any news on sony its been awful quiet.

still denying delays which i kind of agree with. i have good reason too when looking deep into it. basically nothing 'new' about it.

i dont get why sony is having a tough time if they are, the rsx and cell are completed wafers and bluray players are alread in production. thes not much more to matter.

maybe there's a problem with overheating or soemthing that they're trying to work on. you know. little kinks.
or they lied to you about all the hardware parts being on schedule.

but they never said anything. ibm said the cell is complete, and nvidia said the have a working wafer of silicon in their hands. and i doubt there will be an overheating issue. the only console ive seen with that is the xbox, the xbox 360 and the slim ps2's. plus with this time, atleast if there are issues like that they are testing and fixing unlike m$ with their public beta's.

I have a question will the PS3 play the same on a regular TV compared to if it was played on a HDTV or do you have to have an HDTV to really bring out it's full potental.
