yea sony ruined the psp controller it is pretty akward, but sony is really trying to make it like a multimedia center more than a gaming device now.

I know it doesn't give you the anaolg sticks but may help for gripping better.It would be cool using the ps2 controller but the psp games are made different you know?They program them for 1 stick so....

nice link. and svtstang what i meant was is that they are making a big focus on movies, music, ps3 connectivity, gps, and the camera. but they are lacking in games compared to the DS.

yeah I know what you mean but it's still mostly a game machine.I can understande the portable music but who the hell wants to watch a movie on a 3 inch screen.And ds now has an add on for movies...I'm not getting a link lexz because you know I deal in facts.I don't bs people.

Thats an opinion. I see what you mean though about the focus on multimedia/technology though. Compard to the 1.5, the 2.71 is like 4 generations advanced. 1.5 didnt even have web browser functionality.

the ds had a huge library from old console ports and previos gba games due to it's backwards compatibility.I think psp games are actually better :o yep I agree it needs work but grafic wise the psp has the lead.

Lets see, i can play:
SNES
NES
Genesis
GBA
Neo Geo CD
Neo Geo pocket
And others on my psp. DS has taken a backseat to the psp, the only the DS has gong for it is originality in the way you play games.

but the genius of the ds games are their simplicity, i have owned both a ds and a psp, and find that when u are on a bus the ds is nice cause u can play and just turn it off, but with the psp most of the games are long and involved.

bamm .....exactly.The ds has the edge in innovation but psp spec wise is superior.People are quick to say ds owns the handheld market but psp has sold 11 million units and it's sony's first handheld!plus it's only been out a year.

Yep 11 million but to answer your question ds has sold even better.......but....It's not the fist nintendo handheld and it came out before psp.It also counted on gba game compatibilty and old ports like the wildly popular mario 64(nin 64) renammed mario ds...See what I mean.

Im guessing they will be quite pissed lol. In my opinion (IMO), playing games like Metroid with a pen is f'ing lame, and training dogs how to do tricks isnt much better. Praise the head honchos at Sony for ever putting out titles that lame.

Never ave more true words been spoken. Only saving grace for Nintendo is an amazing Zelda title. But then again, Sony will counter that with a Final Fantast game, Gran Turismo, Ratchet and Clank like u said..........could name em off all day.

nintendo has always beat the handheld with better hardware the first atary handheld the lynx i believe had GREAT graphix but lost the sega handheld was literally a sega genesis, and i think ds can beat psp history has proven this
