You have the gist of it.
First and foremost get custom firmware on the psp. (see guide on 1st page)
Download the games to your pc. If they are rar or zipped files - extract the iso/cso - guide.
Now connect you psp to the pc thru the usb connection. Copy the games over to the iso folder. Disconnect usb connection.
Go to games>memory stick in the xmb and pick the game to play.

Hey guys, I have a question...
Say I managed to locate a place where I can get ISO and CSO files for download.
When I do download them, they are available in 2 or 3 parts, So part1, part 2 and part3 and so on.
How am I supposed to play such games? Do I just put the different parts into the ISO folder in my memory stick?
Thanks in advance,
Sahil

You'll have to put the video .iso in the "ms0:\ISO\VIDEO" folder :)
Well, I'm not sure whether it is ""ms0:\ISO\VIDEO" or "ms0:\ISO\VIDEOS"
Try both though and see which one works :)

you should put something in there for when cso's and iso's are split into different parts

I'm downloading games through torrent and most them are CSO files. Only problem is that I have no clue of how to actually get the game into my psp. Do I put it in game or what?

@Smashpld
Connect the psp to the pc (usb connection mode on the psp).
You should get a windows pop up asking what do you want to do.
Pick open files to view. (or something along those lines)
Drag or copy & paste the cso to the iso folder.
Disconnect the psp from the pc.
Now go to games>memory stick and pick the game.

Are you running custom firmware? Can't tell from you post - but my guess is no.
Look under system info and see what firmware is listed.

Okay so you have the majic memory stick made but have not hard modded a battery or have a datel battery?
You need both to get custom firmware on the psp.
You're getting that error cause you don't have a pandora battery (hard modded battery or datel tool battery) in the psp.
So you next step is to get a datel tool battery from like codejunkies.com. I would recommend that over hard modding a battery.

Not a problem occupier
For replacing the battery well that's pretty easy - the datel tool battery fits in where the 'regular' battery is in the psp.
When you get it take out the regular battery then put in the datel tool battery. Now charge it to at least 80% - it's charges the same way as the regular battery.
Once charged take it out and put in the magic memory then put the datel tool battery back in. Now follow the steps in the guide - link.
Just a few tips - make sure you created the memory stick exactly like the guide shows. At the end of the guide where it has this 'Just type Y and ENTER to finish the instillation of files to the Magic memory Stick. even though on the screen a 'y' will be there you still need to type 'y' - some people mess up and just hit enter - that won't work.
If you are using a custom theme - change to the default theme when flashing to custom firmware.
Create the magic memory stick with a pc running XP - Vista and XP 64 bit don't usually work.
Post back if you need any more help.

yeah thats cool i already realised the y bit cause you need to do it twice in the instalation of the magis memory stick, also i had a problem with when to take the memory stick out and put it back in but i done it with trial and error im running xp with a vista inspirate skin so should be ok.

Hi, I currently have the 1.50 firmware installed on my fat psp, and i used a umd emulator (specificly UMD Emulator V 0.8C, with devhook .22), and the screen just went black after using direct copy or copy load, and following the instructions of previous threads. Using system menu mode, it still froze when i used devhook, and it failed when i clicked the UMD icon. Also, i tried the latest devhook, with direct copy, copy load, system menu, as well as fastloader, but they all ended up freezing. All my folders are in the right directories, and i have a UMD in the PSP. I'm wondering what I could use now...
O, and i'm trying to load final fantasy tactics war of the lions

Well, devhook is way old >_>
And well you're getting that problem as Final Fantasy tactics requires a firmware above 3.10 (which is the max devhook can emulate) >_>
I would recommend you to update your firmware to a custom firmware :)
It's really easy you know :D
You can use THIS guide :)
