LMAO man are you really serious? What's the point of having a modded Xbox??? LMAO yo it seems like you don't know the things you can do with a modded Xbox, so i guess you're right, there's no need for you to have one. Besides, if you were planning on burning games to the HD and then trying to get on Xbox Live you would've DEFINITELY been banned LOL!!! Everybody knows you can't go on XBL if you don't have the original game, wtf???

I only play DOAU on my xbox and sometime DOA3. I don't want to pay that horrid price for online gaming that they have out :\ I saw this topic about softmodding and I was wondering if that would work. My xbox hard drive is dead and I want to but another one in it.

yea, i really need to know. i've read through you rtutorial about 13 times. and i am having trouble with the language itself. i'm basically new to all of this, and i was wondering if i should pay to have my shit softmodded, or could i easily do it myself.which one would cost more, i catch on quickly, but not having seen any of this software before, i'm not sure if ishould try it.

softmodding urself is definately cheaper it only cost $30 total where as getting it softmodded can cost anywhere from $70 to $200

but is there big risks involved, this being my first mod, besides an ethernet switch, i wasn't sure if i could do it myself, any tips other thatn this tutorial would be very helpful, and the tut is to thank you

umm there is only one part that is only a lil bit dangerous the rest are easy or they were for me... just make sure when u see the screen with all the giberish and the penguin on the top left dont turn off ur xbox until it tells u u can or u see the xbox ligths flashin green

@EVERYONE INTERESTED! - I spoke with a customer service rep at The Modspecialists yesterday, and they have told me that their softmod packages/upgrades are COMPLETELY Xbox Live compatible! This is great, for all of you who want a modded Xbox to play your burned games and movie files, etc. but don't want to be banned from XBL. The link is www.modspecialists.50megs.com

@WizardWW2 - Oh yes I LOVE the fact that the people using hacks and modded files get banned. But the thing with this place is that they dont' do anything to your ORIGINAL Xbox HD. They return it to you along with the modded HD that you can purchase through them. This way you just swap out the Modded HD with all your copied games, programs, etc. and put in the stock regular HD when you want to play Live. Of course, if you do go on Live with the Modded HD in there, you'll get banned....

ok, i took the easy way out and downloaded the linux profile for splinter cell from code junkies, i ran splinter cell and selected checkpoints, then error 21 came up and the light is flashing red--?
also, i tried the xbins channel thing, it gave me the password and info and shit, but where do i go now?? and i read the 1st page like 5 times...

@herectic Do not post any shit about HALO2 mods. Izts a load and even if you are getting free trial it is still wrong to use hacks and I would definitely shame anyone that uses them. It is just bullshit. And if you#re helping people get hacks, thats even worse!
I'm getting on early tomorrow, so if zou guyz need any more help, yeah.
@spartan Try my tutorial on how to get shit from xbins. Itäds stickied in the General Discussion forum of mXBOX.

When i try to do it with 007: AUF i go to load game then it comes up as a black screen, makes noises, LED stays orange, and nothing happens just stays black.
please help me im so confused!!!
