Lorr, the STB model number comes up automatically if your PC makes contact/detects the box, have you got the Loader open and App Files only box checked, and tried pressing download, and it must be the GTRom 4.03, it comes with the download.

ive found codes for ntl ireland. go to www.fixya.com. worked on my brothers starview one. but mine still not working.

i have everythin connected, app files clicked, correct com port. but there is no stb number coming up at all. i have tried lots of times.

The best thing that you can do then is delete the one you have and download another, it should automatically come straight in the STB pane, GCR 3510, but do not try to type it in.

thanks but i tried to delete and download again. before u told me not to type in i had already typed in that number because nothing was coming up. i think maybe this is my problem now.

Afraid so, it now means going into the PC registry, have to leave it for now, just a thoght though, maybe you can try a PC restore point, just an idea.

Wheety just go back along this tread and you will see Malci and AXXO have given you the answer for the clone starview. It worked for me

i think a new box is my fix. i jus tried the download on another computer downloaded everything. this time i didnt type anythin in the stb box and still no number came in the box.

Yes, If it is Starview 1 - that is what you need to do, and make sure that you use the GTRom 4.03 to do it with, they come in the same wrapper and are in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post okay.

Well you want the fix for the Starview 1 is that correct, it just says Starview top left front of box yes.
